I can\'t wait... There is going to be some dirty politics going on. I\'m all registered to volunteer. I can\'t wait till Bush gets re-elected. ehhehehehe....
Of course there is going to be dirty politics, that\'s how he got in office (notice I said "got in" and not "elected"), and that is the only way he could get in again!
Like I stated before:
To all the hippies, please take some economics and finance courses before you try to smear Bush\'s economic record.
His biggest blunder was steel tariffs.
If anyone needs some basic lessons on why Bush (or Clinton) is not responsible for market bubbles and job losses, I will clue you in.
I am definitely going to support Bush for economics alone. I want my tax liability to decrease.
Though I disagree with Bush on some social issues, I still think he is more conscious of the Bill of Rights than John Kerry is. The democrats will strip you of your first and second amendment rights (that many of you socialists are willing to forfeit because you do not know their historical and contemporary importance). Stop whining about the Patriot act and stand up for the Constitution. You don\'t know why or how the democrats accomplish this nor do you care because you busy reading biased publications from the New York Times and Green Party enthusiasts.
I am going to make an early prediction:
My mention of the Patriot Act is going to set off some serious ranting that I won\'t bother to look over so save your breath. My specialties are finance and the 2nd amendement so bring it on!!!
You won\'t bother looking @ rants abt the Patriot Act but you will discuss finance and the 2nd amendment?
So you will discuss how Bush will run this country into the ground financially causing all of us to be glad we have the 2nd amendment allowing us to carry guns so we can fend off all the disillusioned republicans?
Bush is plainly a backtracking liar that can not even provide his "honorable discharge" he keeps saying he recieved from National Guard duty. LOL National Guard? Come On. Everyone I know that has one from a real service proudly displays it. Real Commander-In-Chief we got there huh? No wonder he started a war talk abt a chip on his shoulder.

Why do you keep calling everyone hippies? Personally I don\'t know of any "hippies" that hang around here. Since you are a self proclaimed expert in finances, I will leave that to you. I studied science and geology, and have been happy to have made a living doing just that for the past 20+ years while raising a family and paying shitloads of taxes. I do think that too much credit is given to whoever is is in power, the economy is cyclical, always has been and always will.
I do however know something about human integrity, and that is something George W. doesn\'t have one shred of.

Ouch!
How do you figure that?
I guess every liberal\'s favorite pres, Slick Willy Clinton, showed tons of integrity while he was getting blown in the oval office by a teenage intern??
No one has a spotless record & every president from now on will have
**** dug up about them after they get into office. People need to stop dwelling on these things and focusing on the positive. Such as the $350 check that most Americans received shortly after my man G Dub took office (but I guess most of you liberals sent your\'s back, right? LOL). Or the fact that an evil dictator\'s people have been liberated & gas prices have been brought to an affordable level all in one fell swoop...
Gas affordable? Whatever. I know i get screwed out here on gas but prices have not drastically dropped as predicted @ least not out here. That refund check u write so fondly of was a publicity stunt. Come on now that one time "gift" from your beloved president was nothing more than a media act. Look @ me I care abt the average family, read here is a small pittance this year but don\'t come cryin\' nxt year. Speaking of liberated people what of Cuba, N. Korea, Libya, off the top of my head. Are we to "liberate" these countries too? NO because it does not benefit us! Clinton was a slick rat and so is Bush so why compare the 2?
"Speaking of liberated people what of Cuba, N. Korea, Libya, off the top of my head. Are we to "liberate" these countries too? NO because it does not benefit us!"
Right! You are exactly right. Of course we have to benefit to justify it... is that wrong?

What makes you think I\'m a liberal? I\'m not, and far from it. Why does everyone around here have to label and pidgeonhole people: hippies, liberals, whatever. FYI I despise Clinton, I think he is a sleazebag, and found it incredibley embarrassing that my children had to witness and understand what this creep, our president did!

Yeah, that $350 check turned the economy around, right down the toilet. Leith is right, a lame publicity stunt, nothing more. Our lame ass governor did the same thing when he got elected, a whopping $150 check, BFD! His impeachment hearings are in process as we speak! Another republican greedy pig who cares about one thing: $$$ for him and his cronies (most of whom, in this case have already been convicted and sent to the slammer!)
Are we having fun yet?
Yes. It is morally wrong to do something only to benefit oneself and hide it as helping others.
I understand that many people these days do not know what altruism is and maybe a little more education would help to bring this quality out in the younger generations. My point is if we are going to play World Police we need to be consistent. As it is most of the world is looking @ us as the terrorists for the exact reason you mention. We only stick our dick into places that will benefit us.If we truly wanted to liberate people and spread democracy we would plain and simple. We have THE most advanced military in the World,if we wanted to be the good guys for real we could. Be Real.
I would like to know how many of the people on this board, who were saying how much they love to help people, and what good sumaritans they are, and how I am a jerk for not wanting to help all the crack babies, RETURNED their $350 refund check, with instructions to give it to some charitable organization, or to education, or any of the other causes they love to have to government support.
Any of you who did, please respond.
Actually, I DID send $200 of my check to The Wilderness Society, a group trying to fight Bush, the bushwacker and all of his buddies from ruining our National parks. I haven\'t been out west to many parks yet, but when I do finally get there, the last thing I want to see is a f&$#ing drill rig in the middle of a pristine field!!!
$75.00 to NORMAL, $125.00 to Green Party,$50.00 to Vincent St Paul (local charity contribution to help the homeless). The rest I used to pay some credit cards gotta be realistic. So there you go. Some of us "liberals" walk the talk !!! Bring it!!
