good news! The dollar has plummeted so drastically the last year in comparison to other economies world wide that now other countries are beginning to no longer accept it as a currency. For some reason if you just keep printing up new bills to fund a war without actually having gold to back them, the value drops. Go figure. Don\'t worry though, every democrat has stated that the way they will fund all of these projects they want to do once they are elected president is to use the money that is currently going to fund the war. Um, that money doesn\'t exist! Stop printing up money, you\'re driving us into a recession!
 
And people wonder why more than half of my 401K is in international markets. :banghead:

1. Doesn\'t believe in evolution.

2. Didn\'t know anything about the NIE report on Iran the day after it came out.  If you don\'t follow politics, I\'ll put it in sports terms that may make more sense.  That would be like a candidate to become the commissioner of baseball not knowing anything about the Mitchell Report.

Oh boy.  Yeah.  This not looking good.  I read he was a former preacher and the governor of Arkansas.   I feel like he totally came out of the woodwork.  When I read the paper today and saw the democrat and republican winners, i was truly puzzled.  I know more about the democratic candidates than the republican.....and sadly, i\'m a registered republican.    In any case, if he makes it all the way, I am going dem and voting for Edwards.

Last year when I went to Egypt the visa was $20 US-cash only.

Now it\'s 20 erous, again cash only.

However, since the company I work for is about 50/50 US/international sales, our profits have shifted to like 30/70 (im not in accounting, so don\'t ask) on our way to posting our largest margins ever. A weak US dollar is not all bad - US goods are now much cheaper overseas.

yea, I know but it doesn\'t mean I like it. Our whole economy is based on the belief that the paper is worth something simply because everyone says it is, but when you move into world wide economy, other people are not as willing to suspend disbelief as much as your average american would. I just find it depressing. Maybe I\'m just still hoping for a Jeffersonian democracy to break out, but I mean he was THE ONLY president to ever balance the budget*, unlike the other 43 idiots to be elected to power.

*before anyone starts bitching about nixon, clinton, or johnson, I need to point out Jackson was the only one to not only balance but also put us in the black.

Huckabee will loose in new hampshire. He only won that caucus because of the strong religious precence that turned out for him. It wont happen in new hampshire.

Today is super tuesday so while I\'m sure a bunch of people will give me reasons why it\'s cool or sends a better message not to, if you are a registered democrat or republican in one of the states poling today you should really go vote. Who you support or what your reasons for picking them is makes no difference. The act of making your voice heard does.
