This is a tough one.

See I basically root for the Rangers these days but still consider myself a Bruins fan. The GF is a HUGE Ranger FANATIC so she will be sporting the red, white and blue and I will have on my Black and Gold.

These games are always fun at our place :)

wow...what a game last night. I think that proved the bruins can actually score this year (which has been a problem in the past). I like to see Chara actually shooting the puck this year too, will only lead to good things

I thought it was surprising that even he would say stuff like that.

I really think that this is a gift to Dallas. They have suuuuucked since Avery went there and all sorts of drama. Not all of it Avery but i think they will use his departure as catalyst to get back to winning.

I can understand the league getting pissed as what he said. Should have been said on the ice and not by calling over a bunch of media people and cameras.

But what makes the League mickey mouse once again is they have guys like Simon who chops a guy in the throat he gets 20 games, Pronger steps on a guys ankle repeatedly with razor sharp skates (as did simon) and they get games. Hollweg etc etc.

Avery runs his mouth and is suspended indefinitely ??? I mean whats worse cheap shots that could kill/maim a player forever or a guy running his mouth ?

It reminds me of the FCC. Blood, guts extreme violence ?? A OK, A tittie gets shown for a millisecond during the superbowl and all hell breaks loose.

What the hell is wrong with my Devils.  It was bad enough that we brought Holik back, but why are we signing Shannahan.  I have fond memories of the guy, but once he or any other Devil puts on that Rangers sweater, don\'t bother coming back.  I\'m a fan of the team, but do we continue to go after these traitors...
