first My Soul of 2009 last night??? Nice.... very nice.
well, there are still moments where you want to grab trey by the ears and yell--stash from last night ended decent, but the bass, keys and drums were firing while trey was stuck in a shitty place. couldve set off rockets in miami, but didnt because of the guitar.
just sayin.

*241 songs played in 09
with that show it almost seems like they were shooting for that "241 songs" mark. place was probably going bonkers all night.
According to "The International House of ZZYZX" there were actually 242 songs played in 2009.
49 Shows Played
242 songs have been played (33% of songs Phish have played).
The average number of songs per show is 22.4.
The average amount of times each song was played is 4.54.
There were 93 onetimers
1105 total songs have been played in the selected shows.
1 songs were in a three show rotation.
20 songs were in a four show rotation.
38 songs were in a five show rotation.
242 has a better ring to it anyway...
It sure does.
Does that stat even carry any significance?
only to debunk the people bitching about too many repeats, i guess... i think its also one of the higher number of individual songs played per year in a while. which would make sense, considering...
it\'s the highest number of unique songs they\'ve ever played in a year. which makes sense. they\'ve literally never had as many originals as they have now (they just put out two albums worth of material) and they played a halloween set\'s worth of new songs (which was a double LP itself)
i don\'t know why people are making such a big deal of the quantity of songs...i\'d be much more concerned with the quality myself

I agree. It is a stupid stat and people just like to
****.
1998 being the year they played 240 songs.
those yearly stats seem bogus though. you cant take the total number of songs now and apply it to past totals.. im sure 240 songs in \'98 would have to be well over 40% during that time... no?
aside, i cant
**** wait to listen to last night\'s show... 3 minutes remaining.
TEEEEELAAA!!

Those are all from ZZYZX and as far as the percentage they are insignificant because you only need to look at the number of shows and the number of songs played.
17 minute Back On The Train?! shweet! i love me some Train live, but am almost always a little let down when it doesn\'t really go anywhere. who\'s notes are those on the link you posted about the type II jamming?
