Sure did, but then watching the clock on my computer say 2:02, 2:03, I knew it wasn\'t happening, the one minute was very much a bad estimate given to me. oh well.

The fully automated hotline was busy from 1:40-2:00 but I got right through at 2PM. I had rehearsed with it for a while last night so I knew exactly what to say and when. Even at max efficiency it took me 5:24 to get to "Push 1 to purchase two 4-day passes to Phish at Red Rocks." Then I got "Please wait while we confirm your order."
OH MY GOODNESS....
....THE MOMENT OF TRUTH...
...COME ON BABY COME ON...
..."We\'re sorry, there are no tickets remaining for the quantity and event you have requested."
Oof.
I was able to try each show individually without hanging up from 2:08-2:12, tried for only one ticket per show, nothing doing, all gone. Dangerously close. I don\'t see how anyone could have possibly gotten tickets from the fully automated line; it misheard me a couple of times but overall it was a very efficient call and wasn\'t nearly fast enough for you, er, fast enough for them.

I was on the phone with TM going through the menu. Made the move to be connected to a live Rep at 1:55. They said the wait would be 5 mins...i ended up being connected at 2:15. The guy i talked to was not on the ball. I got shut out. OH well...In retrospect I should have gone for the connection a little earlier.
He did offer to connect me to TIcketsNOW where they MIGHT have tickets for a SLIGHTLY higher price. I told him I was not playing that game and hung up.

OMG OMG OMG!! I GOT RR TICKETS!! holy crap, i can\'t believe it. i got to Macy\'s at 10 when they opened and was the only person in line until 10:30 when another dude showed up. He was only gonna go 2/4 nights. We had been talking w/ the lady behind the counter so she had it all set up and ready to go. By 11am i asked for 2 4-day passes, and i got \'em. Sitting in row 48 for all 4 nights. my stomach is still in knots. i\'m super happy but i\'m bummed that no one else had luck b/c i wanted to party w/ all of you at the rocks!

Anyone know anyone who scored tix this way? Part of me thinks it\'s just an elaborate charade and all the tix go to places like TicketExchange.

i mean, it was right there in front of our eyes. esther posted her plan a few pages back. if only we\'d known it was guaranteed. you could have flown to cali this morning, gotten tickets, flown home tonight, and STILL would have paid less than what the scalpers will be getting for them.
i certainly would have done this if i\'d known i\'d get tickets.

Or you coulda done the same thing at Macy\'s in Meriden (my guess is there would have been many more than two in line though, shall never know though).

I\'m not sure Meridan etc. would have worked worked. You\'d have to be one of the first two people in line anywhere to have any shot. In populated places like CT and MA I\'m sure everywhere had at least a few dozen. I thought about going to Natick Mall but then I was like, shiiiit, there were 500 people in line here for Phish shows when I used to come here ELEVEN YEARS AGO! There\'s gotta be a bunch today. But then again, if they do random line arrangement and there are only say 20 people in line and the first two are getting tix, then you have a 1-in-10 shot, and you\'ve gotta sign up for those odds if you can get them.
I did the remote location thing for Worcester \'03 and it worked; a carload of 3 of us drove 1.5 hours from Amherst to a mom and pop video store in Southbridge, MA that had a TM outlet. There were only 10 people in line when they went on sale but still, only the first three got tix. Fortunately we had spots 3, 4 and 5 in line so we were all covered with the one 4-ticket purchase.
