AP-HAMPTON, Va. – Some Phish fans are leaving Hampton a little lighter than when they arrived for the band\'s weekend reunion.
Police said Monday they confiscated about $1.2 million in illegal drugs and more than $68,000 in cash from concertgoers. Authorities also arrested 194 Phish fans during the three-night celebration of the band\'s return to the stage after a nearly five-year absence.
Most of the arrests were for drug possession, use and distribution, police said.
Tourism officials had estimated 75,000 fans would be coming to the coastal Virginia city. Nearly 200 law enforcement officers worked the weekend event, with the Vermont-based band picking up the tab.

In other words... Don\'t be stupid... We\'ve all been guilty of it, but these shows are basically target practice for cops... Leave the
**** at home and don\'t give them the easy collar...
you didn\'t need to leave anything anywhere. you just needed not to be dumb about it. i, personally, never saw a single person have any trouble. the cops/security were doing laps around the parking lots. pay just a little attention and you\'d have no problem whatsoever. now, other venues probably require more attention, for sure. but it was pretty much the same as any other hampton show.
i just wonder where all the busts went down, because. like i said, i never even saw a single person get hassled....

all i kept thinking to myself all weekend was how much of a free for all these shows were, and how cool the cops were being with people. i think you\'d have to be being really REALLY

driving to and from, however, different story...
i spotted a few undercovers, and actually i remember seeing one that i saw last time i saw phish at hampton, so if youre sellin drugs on phish lot ,you cant be gettin all wrecked and lose your intuition, thats how they pop you. after the shows they were playing \'follow the balloons\' around all the hotels nabbing tanks left and right.

LBoogie opted out of the trip last minute.....didn\'t wanna risk it.....although now i think that was probably a mistake. these things happen though:) but i\'m glad everyone had a great time/made it home safely!!!!

we actually saw some people with a tank get "busted". they had a choice of giving up the tank, or getting arrested. pretty good deal if you ask me.
No senseless noodling or jamming. I felt they played with a purpose and think it showed.
Think the stage set up is right again.
