Festival 8 was phenomenal. No **** wastoids selling poison, plenty of room, and 8 sets of the BEST **** BAND ON THE PLANET!

Exile was obviously the best choice of the last 8 albums and anyone that doubts that was not there and was not witness to Trey and Page making one of their dreams come true playing that album with the exhilaration and determination to do it right.

As the album rolled out song after song from my memories it became clear that this band is back to playing music for music\'s sake and all the haters can just **** right the **** off.

Phish performed Exile on Main Street with such zeal and professionalism.

Anyone that just dismisses them as pseudo hippie rock is just not listening and is missing out on one of the most relevant Rock bands currently performing.

The great thing was the approach to the music. Playing it for the music\'s sake not for anyone but themselves and how they can serve the music.

Sure they played to us the phans but it was them having fun first and foremost and this band has proven when happy amazing things happen.

Aside from the spectacular performance of a Rock and Roll classic the rest of the sets for me were just stepping stones to my re birth as a Phan.

Sure there were some flubs but the reaction from them and the phans showed a great maturity. Less criticism and more acceptance was the call of the weekend.

I have not heard the band that good and having that much fun since \'93-\'96.

I noticed a lot of children at Phish for the first time really and realized all the kids that jumped on board in the early \'90\'s like myself were having kids and it seemed to mellow out the scene a bit, more should I dare say like the GD scene before Touch.

Could have just been the cool vibe of Cali.
Who knows?

Trey mentioned wanting to do it again and I hope it happens as they have found the PERFECT site.

As a friend of mine said " **** any fan that complains about anything these guys do." They could still be not playing."

Oh yeah and hanging with the Spaceman was **** great!  Same hanging with Gabo and it was great to see Lexi. B\'Fam represent.

So far I have only listened to set 1 from halloween. I think it sounds pretty tasty the stealing time stash combo was nasty. I am looking forward to listening to the rest especially the acoustic set(hint hint to anyone who would like to post it).

Although I am only three songs deep into the Exile set. I am already digging this ****. High energy the horns sound orgasmic even though I thoroughly dislike the stones I think they made the right choice with this pick. Must of been nuts.

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

the soundcheck source i have is the abbreviated one with just the music, but there\'s something wrong with it. very choppy, lots of glitches and blips. i\'ll look around for another source, but i\'m not gonna hold my breath...

Best Phish Festival ever. No lines anywhere. No traffic. No wookies. No n2o mafia. Nothing but laid back good times. Beautiful venue. Top notch playing. Not breaking new barriers but definitely playing as well as they can.

Exile on Main Street was phenomenal could not have asked for a better cover. Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings were a great bonus and truly made the album cover a studio sounding version.

Few tears in my eyes on Sunday during the acoustic set.

Quite stellar. Still a little m&m\'d.. Perhaps more later when it all comes back to me.

Indeed quite the experience with the West Coast peeps. Could not have asked for a more welcoming and fun crew to be with.

Hope they do it again next year...which is certainly a possibility, maybe not Halloween but a Festie.

And how the **** can I forget about the burble and the palm trees. CK5 really did a spectacular job on lights this weekend.

You must see video of the palm trees to get an idea what went down but only being there can you grasp its true greatness.

East Coast needs a burble, stat!
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.
