Some of this new Phish is pretty good, don\'t get me wrong, I\'m psyched for the upcoming shows and hope they continue to get better....

But just as a reminder for all y\'all... most savage Split Open and Melt ever off "Follow Me to Gamehenge". Not sure the date but this is why Phish is PHISH:

What\'s the deal with "Follow Me to Gamehenge"? Could you hook a brotha up with the full compilation? This Melt is nice and dirty.

Go to
phishows.com
and grab 4/16/92; you\'ll have the whole show...

Dude nice call. I\'m downloading it right now, this setlist is totally absurd. Thanks.

4/16/92 is THE BEST intro tape for n00bs!! its got everything that phish does and they do it all really well! the mike\'s groove is totally dominated by mike. he leads the jam straight from the beginning. it helps that the room was a wonderful place for basses. he\'s way up front and so is dave schools from panic, who were the openers that day.

also grab the next couple nights. 4/18/92 has one of my all time favorite, sublime phish moments - harry>linus and lucy>hood. its gorgeous!!!

yup, i was there for it at Camden... GREAT end jam that made me think, \'fee with, huh?! cool, i\'ll take it!\' its not really a \'with\' jam, but it seemed in the same vein.

ah, yes.

Had this on tape and when Stephengencs helped me moved he inherited the tape collection.

This taped played in his car continuously when he came across it and still might be in the rotation.

I was in a trade and the kid I was doing it with insisted on giving me a copy of the show. Glad he did.

I do miss trading.

I will add 3/20/92 (my b-day and my first Sanity) and 3/25/92 (yem has a "money, money, money, money" tease during B&D\'s and the vocal jam has "white boys attack)...just about anything from 2,3,4/92 kicks ass
I\'m gonna break the speed of sound with my silver bullet!!

Okay. So this is the best, most savage, totally nailed Mike\'s Song ever...
I just ripped it off an unlabelled CD I\'ve  had for a while. 1992 I *think*.

Whoever can tell me what show this is from wins a prize::

11-19-92 Ross Arena - St. Michael\'s College, Colchester, VT

probably my favorite phish show.  Also the first show they officially started making DAT recordings of all their shows.

Nick that\'s what I thought originally! But the St. Mike\'s 11-19-1992 show I have disagrees!

Peep the current version up on nugs.net ... it\'s not the same! Or Phishshows.com ... it\'s like the rest of the show is the same but they switched the savage ass Mikes out for something pretty good but not the same as this masterpiece..

hmm...the original copy I got was off nugs.net back in the college years.  It\'s been a while since I\'ve checked it out.  I have it at my \'rents place back in Weston.  I will check it out when i\'m there this weekend.
