i heard that all the permits are there and everything is ready to go. its pretty much up to the band to make a decision to play or not at this point. and my sources are good
From what I understand the situation is this.
DMB had held 4 dates (5/29, 5/30, 5/31 & 6/1) when they first planned the tour. Because all the tour dates were not finalized st the time, it is standard to book block of shows even if you only plan on using 2 or 3 days.
Now if that is true then Phish is not happening.
To further this, I also understand that even though Phish and DMB share Red Light entertainment, RL does not have the authority to transfer dates between bands.
I know everyone knows someone with a rumor but this one is beginning to look like a not gonna happen.
Have no quarrels against this happening. I prefer it.
The reality is so mixed up that my brain almost gave up earlier today discussing with other people.
Given the clusterfuck that has been happening around Phish, and Phish tickets, I would bet on it not happening because of the limited number of shows (1 or 2), and the short notice to the venu, band, and fans for ticket sales.
pretty sure this is a phish thread

looks like Jim has a lot of time on his hands today...
Fenway seating capacity: 39,928
.... SPAC is 25,100 or so... for comparison... so maybe we\'ll actually be able to get tickets to this?

I\'ve been April-fooled before, would expect so again and again.

If the Red Sox vs. Royals are sold out, phorget getting phish tickets.
and fenway scalping put the rest to shame.
they block off all of the bleachers for shows, and only put people in the outfield
