unreal.

it wasn\'t perfect, but it was really, really **** good.

the band sounded very good overall. there were a few rough patches - trey struggled with bowie and hood - but overall, just phenomenal.

i don\'t know if the YEM thing was a joke or not. they were off before they restarted, but i suppose it could have been intentional. i REALLY hope it was.

my 94th (? i think ?) show, and i\'ll say this - best light show and best vocal jam i\'ve ever witnessed. the lights were absolutely stunning. it appears (to my untrained eye) to be generally the same rig, with a few new goodies thrown in. but it was incredible.

404 pictures taken today. recorded, and got HD video of fluffhead, stash, nicu, horn, and harry hood.

and i got my pollock.

it was a good day.

Currently listening to Set 1 - seems like they\'ve never been away. Sooo jealous you were there dave, but that\'s balanced by knowing you taped it.

BTW has anyone manged to get on to bt.etree.org this morning? Keep getting a "Timed out" or "Cannot display page" error, depending on browser. Maybe someone has already torrented the show and sheer weight of numbers has crashed the site???

Just watched the Fluffhead  on youtube which actually brought a tear to me eye.
Then I watched the David Bowie and HOLY ****!!!!! Those lights are INSANE!!!!!!!!! Holy fuckity ****. Kuroda is sooooo stoked right now. He gets to go back to what he does best.
Now I\'m a bit more interested in the fall rumors.
Worrying is like praying for something you don't want.

It\'s quotes like this that are gonna turn this thing into a mob scene:

Quote
Fans responded. When the reunion concerts were announced last fall, seats for the opening show were being resold for as high as $1,000 — and even more nefarious tactics than scalping were at play: Inside the venue on Friday, 29-year-old Rod Stewart said he bought a fake with a happy ending.

"We bought three tickets in the parking lot for $100 each, and when the lady scanned them, they came up \'counterfeit,\'" said Stewart, of Chesepeake, Va., "but she let us in anyway."

I\'m so jealous!

Listening to Set 1 right now... up to Farmhouse so far. This is pretty asskicking ... ambitious first show back, I mean, ****, this is going to be one hell of a year for Phish isn\'t it now!

Flubs lol... for the first show back in the year of 2009 this is so awesome. Damn this summer/fall tour is gonna be some heat! If only I could get some tickets without emptying my wallet 8-ball-of-crack-style my dreams would be coming true :D

And I gotta give mad props to Phish for putting these shows up the next morning in amazing sound quality for free.. I mean I felt **** over but I know it\'s not Phish\'s fault but they totally made up for it with the free instant gratification.

**** yeah.

Minus set break and encore break, Live Phish tunes have it at 3 hours 29 minutes 18 seconds.  Not sure if that the longest 2 set show, but it\'s got to be close.  I\'m **** jealous...
