^^thats what i have been saying..when the lights go down and those couple seconds pass before the first note soars into the air...oh sweet bliss...the energy will be so fantastic...when rage played coachella after all those years it was the best feeling ever...explosive...dp i am so jealous...please make sure to rock out for us!

Paul Languedoc to Retire from the Road

Longtime Front of House engineer Paul Languedoc has confirmed to Relix/Jambands.com that he will not join Phish on its upcoming reunion tour. Languedoc first ran the Vermont Quartet’s soundboard in 1986 and remained with the group through its final performance in 2004. He also designed many of Phish’s trademark instruments over the years, including Trey Anastasio’s series of famed Marley guitars. In recent years Languedoc has sold his designer hollow body electric guitars through his own company, Languedoc Guitars, and has decided to focus his attention on this new business going forward. He remains close with Anastasio and the Phish camp, who will continue to use his instruments on the road. So whats the deal with Tim playing in Hampton? Have the deetz been worked out? I wont be there, but i\'m assuming that it would be good to get the word out a bit... unless its going on in someones hotel room or something.

Nice jab at The Boss Wolf... But he did draw 90-100K in Dublin on 1/6/85 and 200-250K in Berlin on 7/19/88. Both shows, he was the only band and they were both one show, not a weekend festival... And for the US leg of the Born In The USA tour, he played 28 shows to a total of over 2 million people, that\'s more than 70K a show for what equates to the month of February... Do the research before you bash The Boss...

Come on after all these years? You have to know Seth does half-assed research and just blows people away with hyperbole and witty banter in his writing.

He does mention that Phish does not have as many fans as Pop bands etc. but fails to mention that pretty much this is the Super Bowl of concerts to ONE SPECIFIC and rather small demographic whereas Bruce Springsteen is known WORLD WIDE with a much larger demographic of fan.

I think that he wrote a great piece. But my point is that, while over 100K planned on going to Coventry, reports show that only about 20K actually made it to the show. And that, while Phish drew on average 70K to their festivals during the height of their career, Bruce was drawing that on a daily basis during his heydey. I didn\'t even mention the 15 consecutive sold out shows at the Continental Airlines Arena...
