I just saw this on the Toad\'s Place email.

Having zero experience with Of Montreal but having heard good reviews, do you recommend this event?

1000%...unless they\'re playing in nyc one of the two nights before that, in which case you should go to that. toad\'s sucks and it\'s no better on sunday nights

Thanks, Zuke. I have it on the back burner.

I wasn\'t thinking about the dying Toad but I guess it has a lot to do with the overall atmosphere of the show. Sunday, should have looked harder at all the information.

It\'s legit. Tix are only $20.  Not word of an on sale date yet.

if any bartenders over at toads place wanted to use their pull to make sure several of us got tickets or at least knew in advance the sale date and time of the show I wouldn\'t complain. :banwave:

Looks like I\'ll be checking this out.  I know nothing of this band other than the rave reviews I\'ve seen on this board, but it\'s free for me- so what the hell, why not?

Care to elaborate on what the show is like?

btw Zappa- did you get a puppy?
