• Fingers are crossed, but it\'s looking like typical hot sunny days followed by afternoon thunderstorms. This I can handle. It\'s the full on rain storm that would make the trip interesting. There would be a LOT of four wheelin\' happening!

  I just looked at Old Harbor Bike Shop\'s website for ya...no prices were listed, but they rent mopeds, bikes, and kayaks.  There is a 10% discount if you mention their website, plus if you go to the website i think there\'s a coupon you can print out.  Requirements for rental include that you\'re 18+, have a valid ID, and a credit card.  There is a credit card deposit for all rentals.  Oh, and it\'s located right next to the ferries apparently.

• I had a bolt of lightening land right outside my window last weekend.  Scared the schnot outta me.  I don\'t think I\'ve ever been that close to 40 kiloamperes of electricity.  Then I lost power for 5 hours.  You\'d think with the price of power in this state we\'d get better service(please excuse my delusion).
