With summer comes thunderstorms....

:D

We have had a ton of them here in the past two weeks. They are not very good for me financially... but I love them nonetheless.

Pretty decent one rolling in here right now...

We got a lot of rain down here this afternoon. I found that like running, when you ride your bike in the rain, you tend to go much faster for longer periods. Everything is better in the rain. Just saw a flash of lightening and heard some thunder go overhead.

Huge fan of thunderstorms (as long as I\'m not driving in one) and there is one making its way over us right now. I\'m actually sort of a severe weather geek. Whenever there\'s a thunderstorm, I flip to the Weather Channel to gauge it\'s severity. I also actively keep track of the hurricanes and tropical storms each summer.

Oh yeah! The line for the ladies forms to the right.

One is hitting here right now. Muggy humidity being replaced by cool ionized breeze. Very nice.

I\'m getting excited to see some rain when I get out there in 1.5 weeks.  Haven\'t seen a drop in a couple months (and likely won\'t again till October).

al, how the hell does anything grow there then? You have to get some rain, or at least fog. (heh, maybe just smog)

No rain for approx a half year.  We usually get a lot in the winter and spring, then rely on the melting Sierra snowpack to get the state through the summer and fall.

From what I have heard, the L.A. area has only received 2 inches of rain since last July.  That\'s a major "sorry, chip" for an area with nearly 20 million people.

Shut the **** up you!! If it rains for the Block Island trip, I\'m going to lay you out on the beach and make sure your mouth is open so you drown in it. :D

I\'m hoping for some rain on this trip, though I envisioned sunny days and warm nights in my Block Island fantasy.

The only rain I want to see is the 10 (or however far it was) foot drop of tequila off the pier into people\'s mouths. :chug: :thewave:
