lol thats exactly it. you nailed it. i suck at shows, too.
If I ever go to a show with you, I\'m going to wear a padded helmut...
good call, i\'ll certainly be ragin\' bruce springsteen !!!!!
good call, i\'ll certainly be ragin\' bruce springsteen !!!!!
There\'s no call for that... I\'m making an actual effort to listen to Ween; will I ever go to a show, don\'t know... I\'m not going to say that if you\'re not from NJ, you won\'t get Bruce, cause that just plain
****... But I\'m not going to knock someone that comes to a show doesn\'t know Thunder Road from Thundercrack or thinks that Because The Night is a 10,000 Maniacs song... A fan is a fan... There\'s no need to have to prove that you\'re worthly...
you 2 would be cute together
mosh pits aplently.
Now when you say mosh pit, do you mean it like "man, I went into the Suicidal Tendences mosh pit and got my ass kicked" or do you mean the hippy mosh pit where people are jumping around and bumping into each other?
some sort of weird in-between place. too rough for hippies. too weird for punks.
scotchguard is usually involved
pffft what you know about scotchguard? you\'ve probably never even listened to The Pod.
know enough about both to know you have to huff scotchguard to enjoy the pod
I feel like something precious has been exploited by tourists who only like a fraction of their music, ie the post-White Pepper albums that are all mainstream and easily accessible. don\'t get me wrong, i still love these albums, and i\'ll always love ween, but they are *not* quintessential ween to me.... so if you\'re standing there like a dope during "never squeal" or "pumpin for the man", expect my elbow in your jaw.
flame away, whatevs, it won\'t change the way i feel.
good point...i guess i\'ll sell my phish tix since i don\'t like \'clod\' and \'jennifer dances\'. you should be happy that your band eventually matured enough to write some good music to balance out their "unique" stuff
you 2 would be cute together
i just threw up in my mouth a little bit

Wow, that\'s a first for me... I made someone vomit without ever meeting them... It\'s the fat thing isn\'t it...
yea, pumping for the man is one of my favorite songs by them. too bad it\'s a rip off of wind up working in a gas station by zappa.
:duck: love you princess.
:::hits paul ryan in jaw with elbow:::
No sarcasm there...
It is true....I\'m a spoiled ****!
On a related note: I\'ve actually never seen Ween though I have been a fan since the early 90s.
aren\'t they playing in san fran soon?
Yup, looks like they are billed for the Outside Lands Music Fest in August. I will not be at that but would certainly see a club performance if they add one.
wow, say you love someone and they punch you. that\'s cold.
also, for what it\'s worth, the princess/rydb conversation had me in tears. well played.
I actually remember looking at a friends WEEN cd back in 1996 during my freshman year at SCSU... I wasn\'t allowed back because after that I kept doing the Beavis & Butthead imitation of "Push the little daisies and make them come up"
