i guess i\'m just a jaded elder, but there was a point in time (when i became a fan) that ween\'s catalog was so out there and weird that it was truly underground. GodWeenSatan, Pure Guava, The Pod, these albums are what drew me to the band because it was so unique, different and
**** awesome.
I feel like something precious has been exploited by tourists who only like a fraction of their music, ie the post-White Pepper albums that are all mainstream and easily accessible. don\'t get me wrong, i still love these albums, and i\'ll always love ween, but they are *not* quintessential ween to me.... so if you\'re standing there like a dope during "never squeal" or "pumpin for the man", expect my elbow in your jaw.
