So the Suns decided to play instead of folding. Commendable but futile.
Same w/ the Hawks. Sure it was fun to watch but the next game boston is going to ROLL them.
When did the 76er\'s get some game? Awesome!
Tomorrow the Lakers play for the sweep and get some rest before the next series against Utah. Gonna be fun to watch.

ugly 3rd quarter, but kobe turns it on in the 4th and carries us through the sweep and into round 2! if only he was interested.

I guess I gave boston too much credit and the Hawks too little in my last post.
Lakers did what a real #1 Seed does and took care of business in 4.

I wish boston hadn\'t gone to **** right when the Lakers had caught fire.

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

It\'s Trevor Garrod at the Higher Ground in an OX head mask. Save the photo to your desktop and then enlarge it. It\'s really trippy, almost seamless from head to body.

The Celtics game angered me.  They played like their regular season record and star power alone would be winning them the series so they didn\'t have to play hard.  They definately didn\'t show even a glimpse of being the defensive team they have been all season. That being said, they will win the next two at home and close it out.  Joe Johnson was amazing last night, but he can\'t do it night in, night out

On the Lakers note, Kobe Bryant continues to amaze me.  I know that I am :deadhorse  but when its all said and done he could definately be considered as good or better than Jordan.  That fadeaway he made last night against Kenyon Martin was ridiculous.

Sweep Dreams to the Nuggets. Almost too easy. Radmanovic carries the Lakers through an otherwise dismal third quarter. Kobe comes through when it counts. Luke\'s three proves to be the death blow.

Isn\'t it 1-1-1 to close out? Are you suggesting there will be a Game 7?

As for the Kobe vs. Jordan debate, get lost guy.. He doesn\'t touch MJ.

I am a huge MJ detractor. The fact his last shot will always show him clearly committing a foul on the push off is wonderful to me.
I give the guy props for being almost as good as Magic Johnson but he changed the game from a team game to a me game.
With all that said. I agree Kobe does not touch MJ but if he wins say 3 more in his career? I think a stronger argument could be made.

Yeah "the guy". Like I said I\'m an MJ detractor.

Anyway I found this awesome to read.

Larry Bird on the Dan Patrick Show yesterday:
Indiana Pacers president and NBA legend Larry Bird was on the Dan Patrick Show this morning, and the subject of clutch performers came up.
Patrick asked Larry Legend if Kobe?s ability to hit big shots rivaled Michael Jordan.
Bird responded with this:

"Well, I think Kobe is the best player in our league, and I think he\'s been the best player for a long time. Not to take anything away from anyone else.

Somebody told me the other day that he hasn\'t won an MVP trophy, that sorta made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away. That\'s how much respect I have for the guy.

He\'d be the guy that I would want with the ball when the game is on the line."
