Swami Bananahedananda on marriage:
In order to be married you must first find a partner.
When you find your partner, one must ask the other if they would like to marry.
Then you shall have a partner. When you have your partner, you must play your part
and never part. For if you do part you will no longer be partners.
When partners part, this means one or both have not played their part to be partners.
The word \'partner\' comes from old India. The sanskrit word, myapahrtnurisapaynindeeass.
Marriage is a sacred bond between two partners, if only they do not part.
If one partner is a nagging
****, do not say,"Shut up,
****!"
But rather thank them for making you long for a higher world.
If one partner is a lazy prick, do not say, "Get off your lazy ass, you idiot!"
But rather go cry to the Divine navel for your spiritual freedom,
where this lazy prick shall not be.
This is the way of the Swami. You must follow the way of the Swami.
