So how exactly does an ingested metal get absorbed in to your central nervous system ? I would think that you would simply pass most of the metal the old fashioned way. in order to get levels of metal in to your body to effect electrical flow i would imagine it would be toxic levels

Got the whiskey bottle out(Seagram\'s).
There was alot of Westerns back then on T.V.
The cowboys slugged down shots of whiskey.
I did did ten shots in 20 min.!
All hell broke loose!!! Crawled to the bathroom and
chowed up my stomach in the bathtub.Yuk!
Made it into bed,eventually.
Told Mom and Dad I had a stomach ache.

I\'m fairly certain that silver works great topically as an anti-inflammatory/antioxidant/anti-infective. Ingestion, however, would require me to have more of a biochem background. As far as I know, metals, like aluminum, bind to the chemical receptors in the brain, but this is most likely with aluminum salts, as commonly seen with aluminum hydroxides and aluminum sulfates. A reason to check your processed baked goods for aluminum salts; long term ingestion indicates a beta-amyloid disaster!
