My new plan (full of holes, taboot): drive to greater New Haven area on Saturday, make someone drive me from there into NYC (possibly against their will,) hang around who knows where for a while after the Knit, stay for parade. It\'s just hard to pass up a good excuse to drink in the morning.
This is not a very good plan though, because I still have the whole dog/cat/lizard/snake/hedgehog/fish/horses care thing to deal with, and I don\'t like asking people to help me out two weekends in a row.

I\'ll give you 3/1 that says it rains, at least showers before and during el parado. One must understand that the job of meteorologist is pretty much like guessing how many jelly beans are in the jar.

It rained a little last year. Not to worry. We\'ve got a dry, protected spot I like to claim. That\'s why I get there early, and bring enough people to hold it down.

thought about commuting up there everyday, but then did some math and realized it would cost me just as much in gas commuting to RI everyday than it does paying rent, plus you really can\'t do much since you\'ll be wiped and go to sleep almost right away cos ya have to do it all over again the next day starting 3 hours earlier than if you lived within a reasonable distance to the job
