disappear is such a harsh word. some time off doesn\'t really cut it though. i may be up there this weekend, i\'ll give ya a ring. i\'m definitely ready for club tossing season \'07, though I need to get on eBay and restock, my driver is in two pieces (not my fault this time), my PW was left at grassy hill and I forgot to call/retrieve it, and I need to get me one of them medicus trainers to help bring the club tossing ratio down to once a round.
nyc owns new haven\'s st. patty\'s day parade.
i don\'t know what the hell i was thinking going to the parade today, but it was actually nice to be out walking around. anyhoo, i left hours ago... hope dobson and aruny are okay/alive (josh dobson=in great form).
where were all of you
**** parade people??
At my parents\' house washing the kitchen floor.
:sigh: East Coasters :sigh:
No wonder I can\'t stand that side of the coast. Closer to Ireland than we are and still can\'t figure out St. Patrick\'s Day is on the 17th!
yeah I was a bit confused by that as well.

We on the right coast know how to party!! Why spend one day celebrating when you can spend a week. Sorry.....

Sorry bri - i really wanted to go to this, but after a night @ the Knit it was way too hard to get the crowd interested in going anywhere but home. I hope you had good times, & we\'ll def be at the party next year!

thats probably because a lot of people march in both parades. youre on a roll here Leith..another failed attempt though, and im sure neither coast can stand you
Bri, came walkin up that way but didnt run into u however i was in zombie mode and seeing Freddie there made me think i was actually dead with him and it was the after life (based on how i and know he felt)

Failed attempt @ what? I was just saying seems pretty assbackwards which is par for the course on the east coast. Damn Jon get your panties unbunched.

Yeah, a
dry parade beats public intoxication any day.

The parade is always the Sunday before the 17th. Doing it on Sunday makes sense for many reasons, so does keeping it the same every year. How is San Diego\'s parade?

At least you guys didn\'t show up at my house after we left, (unware of daylight savings) like some people.
Jon- I vaguely remeber getting a call from you while at the parade. I have no recollection of what was said. In case you couldn\'t tell I was already bombed by that point.
I was also incognito, having received a pair of Randy "Macho Man" Savage type sunglasses. I spent a good deal of the parade running around yelling about Wrestlemania and Slim Jims.

Well San Diego\'s parade is on St. Patrick\'s Day every year. You know the day it\'s actually celebrated?
No matter what day of the week it falls on and is held rain or shine. Usually don\'t have to worry about that.
Just seems pretty inconsiderate to the culture to celebrate a holiday on a different day than it actually is just because it\'s convenient. I mean why bother celebrating on the 17th? Seems like it lessens the actual holiday.
It
is St. Patrick\'s Day but still if you\'re gonna give it holiday status w/ a parade and all............
If the Irish drunks had a problem with the holiday parade being celebrated on the Sunday before their Holiday, they should speak up and have the date changed. However, they actually have a week to celebrate now that they have the Sunday to Sunday week. We like to keep them drunk and in the bars on the east coast.
