So my ex and I are talking again... we spoke on the phone for like 3 hours last night, an amazing conversation, we talked about a lot of things, but I also found out that she can\'t afford to come up to New York for new years. I mean I know the girl absolutely broke my heart once already, but she\'s the girl of my dreams, and now I come to a crossroads, sure I can go see moe. and all my moe.ron friends in NYC and ring in the new year, but part of me wants nothing more than to be kissing her at midnight ringing in the new year. So this I ask to you, do I follow my heart and risk being hurt again by flying to see her in Texas, or do I go to NYC and ring in the new year with moe....

I agree with Todd & Leaf & Free Spirit.  Don\'t waste New Year\'s on this loser.  If she really cared, she would sell a bunch of stuff on EBay to pay for the flight or buy a bunch of Google stock.  Nothing is worth missing the Breakfast for.  Well, maybe going to Hyde with Paris & Nicky.  I am no MOE fan, but if you are, you should go.  They were giving away MOE tickets at work last summer, but no one wanted them.  If only I had known there was a MOE fan.

She\'s just going to **** you over again, if not on NYE then at some point.  Regardless of how infatuated you are, this is NOT the girl of your dreams because the girl of your dreams would never have broken your heart the first time.  Girls like this don\'t actually care about you and they don\'t change.  It\'s easy to get sucked in because they\'re so great on the surface but deep down they\'re really heartless.  The folly for you lies not with falling for them once, but in going back to make the same mistake again.  It\'s very, very hard to admit to yourself that you were wrong about them but at some point you have to or you\'re just gonna get **** with again.  Besides, NYE is way too much drama to be doing the reuniting thing.  If you must go back to this duplicitous siren then at least do it under some sort of normal, sustainable circumstance.

Well its kinda hard to make any judgements since all we know is that she broke your heart.  However, if she did hurt you bad, i would think that its on her to get to you and make amends to you.  If she really wanted to see you, wanted you back, she would have done everything in her power to make it up to you......life is too short to waste on some selfish little ****....

I say go to moe. and find some cute little moe.ron to kiss to welcome in the new year.......

If its ment to be between you and this other girl, it will work itself out.....
