I feel for you guys. I graduated HS @ 17 and I used to have to sneak in to 18+ places in college, talk about LAME.

I\'ll try an make some nice tapes (recordings) for those of you not in attendance

If cafe 9 is filled to capacity we will only be able to set up one rig at the most.  we will have to discuss what we are going to do some time before the day of the show.

Are we talking 1 mic stand or 1 rig ? I have a "T" bar mount for my stand that can accomodate 3 pair of mics.

If it is only gonna be 1 rig 1 stand then I agree we should all talk about it. My AKG\'s will be in NOLA for Jazzfest but I wanted to run the Beyer M201\'s (nothing special just fun mics) - UA5-Laptop.

I think we all run very similar rigs.

I have never been to this place is there a place we could setup the mics but run a long pair of XLR\'s to an out of way area ?

Just thinking out loud ??

There is room for one stand up front if its a small one. last time i ran long xlr cables over to where matt had his computer set up so he could get the spdif out from my ua-5. thats what i usually i do when he is there with his computer. i dont know what we are doing the night of the show, but if multiple tapers show up not everyone will be setting up their equipment.
