i know many of you (and myself included) will not be there, but i wanted to share this sweet ass flyer that my buddy Ando made for myspace promo and stuff.  i\'m not sure if they have recieved anything from the band to put stuff around town, but i guess internet is the only means to get the word out there back in the big Slow...

shouldn\'t that kind of stuff be handled by someone that might have more time to worry about those types of things? i\'m not trying to knock Ron but i would think it\'s about time to let the "mildpack" handle promo, i\'m sure Ron has other things to worry about then mailing people promo materials.

I\'ll be there for the first time, since I couldnt see them the first two times they were here because I wasnt 21.  I havent seen any promotions of any sort around town for this show.  I don\'t think the Shag does a very good job of promoting concerts, as the Oteil show only had about 20 people there.  If there was anything I could do to help promote it Id be happy to help out.

If you could print out some of these and pass them around, that would be awesome!!!

yeah ive seen the shagg packed before, the oteil show was the first time there wasn\'t many people which was disappointing.  I\'ll be printing some of these flyers off and leaving them at my school/work/malls. I hope there is a decent turnout.

I\'ll inform Ron of your executive decision.......

Seriously....we sent these folks a lot of stuff.  I can\'t MAKE them use it....but perhaps they are getting a little too high these days.

usually the guy who owns the shag is pretty good w/ promoting stuff at his bars around omaha (he has 2 i think..., and one of them is also a bar/music venue like the shag).  i know last time the breakfast were in town, there were ads in those local entertainment newspaper things and i know he has a lot of pull with one of the college radio stations in the area and had some of the breakfast\'s songs played on the air.  however- i do believe he is in process of opening a new bar/club in town so maybe hes too busy w/ promoting stuff.. i mean that Oteil show had 20 people...

however- if these promo materials that you guys sent out were sent directly to my friends (instead of them having to print out and pay their own stuff)...the show would def be promoted all over and everywhere.

I am sure he did but maybe the address was wrong or something like that.

Totally agree. The band should have been able to delegate some of that stuff to the Wild Pack as soon as the Wild Pack was established as announced on .net May 12th.

They could also ask their manager to look into these things oh wait they don\'t have one.
