my birthday is that monday, looks like the closest I\'m going to get to a birthday show... so you should all suck it up and go just so you can buy me a beer, whether you like the venue or not. rotfl

i don\'t understand the hate for this venue. i don\'t like standing in line before the show, but that\'s my only gripe.

1. They don\'t allow shows to be recorded.
2. The management has been uncooperative, rude and unprofessional on many occasions.
3. The light system consists of 4 cans
4. Takes 15 minutes to get a beer(understaffed)

A change in management would do this place good. but when you have a monopoly over the every act coming to Northampton, they can do what they want.

I am going to this show to support the breakfast. Even with all this venue bashing and past negativity, it\'s still going to be a great time!

there are 10 iron horse shows on archive. is this a new development?

never had a problem with management.

my eyes are closed most of every show i go to anyway.

never had a problem getting a beer promptly.

guess that\'s why i\'ll probably be there on friday. i\'d rather see a show here than a toad\'s place any day of the week

my mom is visiting me for a few days and we might go up to this and make a day out of it. can any northampton peeps recommend good restaurants/shopping/sights??

These are just my personal experience. I am glad your experiences have been different. I am going Friday with an open mind and an adjustment in my attitude and things will be fine.

If people are not going to a shows b/c they know it will be recored, that\'s just a shame. The recordings are for the fans that can\'t make it for what ever reason, especially the people that live far away. It\'s a great way for everyone to be connected to the music and keep the interest alive.
Also, I am excited the band is finally going to selling high quality live shows. I think, this is equally important for their economic success. It\'s all about finding the right balance to make the breakfast profitable. It\'s nice to see this effort.
