Anyone seen this guy Ken on Jeopardy ? He has won 27 days straight and leading now. He is like a freakin\' machine. He knows pretty much every answer and wins by obscene amounts. It is pretty cool to watch.

yea, I caught him a couple of times, and thats exactly what I was thinking.

I think that he\'ll hit $1,000,000 and then quit.
I don\'t think it\'s a "Quiz Show" thing, but it does seem like there is at least one category from each round that is in his "area of expertise". Then again, maybe it\'s just that he knows so freakin\' much.
He has said that he\'s giving 10% of his winnings to his church, right now that\'s over $80,000!

ken was on letterman last night reading the top 10 list...
Top Ten Ways To Irritate Alex Trebek
10. "Ask him on air, "So who did your botox?"
9. "Instead of responding, get his attention by throwing nickels at his head"
8. "Buzz in without using your hands"
7. "Give Courtney Love directions to his house"
6. "Whenever he says the word "potpourri, " you mumble, "woman"
5. "Tell him he\'s no wink martindale"
4. "Remind him that although he\'s a naturalized citizen, he\'ll always be a product of the evil Canadian empire"
3. "Complain that he\'s not nearly as Trebek-y in person"
2. "Your only response: "Who gives a rat\'s ass?"
1. "Insist on buying a vowel"

If so they were smart. He even got some run on Jim Rome\'s show. He is pretty amazing to watch. I know I watch to see him decimate the other opponents. Many of whom are in awe of the guy. Watch when they go into the red, it\'s like they expect it. That is the sign of a champion being able to get in your opponents head w/o even trying!

last night he started off the show by running the first 2 categories, and half of the 3rd, before someone else even had a chance to chime in!

and i notice his opponents are just so stoked to actually chime in,that they rapely even know the answers

Sure, Ken Jennings is a Jeopardy legend. Big deal. I\'d like to see him go five straight weeks on Press Your Luck. Never happen. Can\'t avoid the Whammy for 33 consecutive shows.
For the record, I feel Press Your Luck is the best game show of all time, should be brought back, and my favorite whammy was the Michael Jackson one. Who knew?
Does anybody here: 1. remember Press Your Luck, 2. have a favorite Whammy, 3. recall the name of the host?
I will not be surpised at all if nobody answers any of these questions. But if we can talk about Bad Joke Jennings, we can talk about one of the first and only game shows to use animation. While we\'re at it, anybody remember Tic Tac Dough, Joker\'s Wild, Card Sharks, or Classic Concentration? All classics.

no you can\'t.. especially when you get their system down to a science, and they get rid of you after 2 shows, because you outsmarted them..
as a result of his outsmarting the board, the producers added sixteen more patterns and the network set a $75, 000 cap on winnings. bogus.

Fantastic memories and information Dave. I knew the host\'s name and either didn\'t want to admit it or wanted to see if anybody else had it stored in the murky depths of their mind.
There is a now show on the Game Show Network called "Whammy," which is somewhat similar to Press Your Luck, but is like watching Three\'s A Crowd instead of Three\'s Company. I will be truly stunned if anybody remembers Three\'s a Crowd. It was on for about 28 seconds.
And I can also recall many a tense moment during Double Dare, or Family Double Dare, when they couldn\'t find the flag among the green slime up the nose with the clock ticking. But I honestly cannot remember that host\'s name. And I\'m glad for it. I want to say it\'s Mark...something. I hope I\'m wrong.
