I did, in fact. Someone had to give me a **** prize after last weekend for christ sake.

Ahh, yeah, the family jam... maybe? Working on not being so homeless at the moment and part of that involves me house sitting a doggy on Saturday.

Can I bring someone else\'s dog to this event?

^^Thanks for that update DSflounder, I was waiting patiently for your personal summer \'09 Flounder tour break down. Now I just need Wolfman\'s always mind-blowing review and I could finally move on.

As far as the new tunes, I like Kill Devil Falls a lot, Ocelot works fine, Backwards is a pretty sweet tune although they shouldn\'t open set 2 with it like they have been recently--kind of hard to jump back into a frenzy, I\'m over TTE, Stealing Time is pretty gritty but that piercing note at the end of each chorus line at the end I could do without (speaking of which, I feel like it has found its way into many a sing/jam moments lately..deriving from this Stealing riff? anyone?), and Sugar Shack is good.

These shows have been a blast to listen to. Funny how three out of four nights at Red Rocks will never get another play out of me (8/1 the exception), where as plenty of other shows will. Going to start on SPAC now.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

Speaking about calling songs. Antbach called 3 songs in the first set at Darien in order (I believe).

you may want to check with Josh Kroop on that.  Maybe so.  Maybe not.  What kind of dog is it?

If Clark Griswold taught me anything it is, you can always tie a dog to a bumper.

If I am going to go by a nickname other than NickNels, it should be more unique than flounder.  People will ask me, "how did you get the nickname flounder," with which I will have to reply, "Gencs was watching Animal House one day and decided to call me flounder."  A nickname needs to have a better genesis story than that, no?
