6th inning Manny and Lowell just went back to back to tie and then pull ahead. currently 6-5 Sox.  Oh ****, what a game.  It\'s great to actually be able to watch the game.  God I love the Red Sox.

Both teams playing well though, I think this one\'s gonna come down to the wire.

^^ see, already tied up in the top of the 6th.

don\'t forget buckner.

as Terry said though a great game of baseball up until the last 15 min.  Both teams played really well.  Gagne def blew it, but you can\'t really put it all on his shoulders.  When Ortiz Ramirez and Lowell went down in order I knew it was over.

I think that game took a few months off my life, prob the most exciting game I\'ve seen this season. (possibly the mother\'s day miracle, but this is the post season whole new ball game)

Very tough loss, but we went down fighting.  I\'m still very confident.  It might take 7 games, but I think we\'ll see a World Series.

I gave up on Gagne a looong time ago.  It\'s too bad really, a guy who him and papelbon were 2 of the best closers in baseball, he set a record for most saves (I think that\'s what it was) then came to Boston and lost all his mojo.  It\'s a ser bummer.

This will def be an exciting series. (and was tonight)

Hey Sox fans

While you\'re at it, don\'t forget to throw Schilling on the griddle for his disgraceful performance.

Sincerely with love, etc.

Gagne was dunzo when he got surgery a few seasons ago, he just go worse when he came to Boston.

Thought it was a classic October playoff game. The series looks good.

I\'m pretty sure he got the record for most consecutive saves.

Chris- I think Schilling would probably be taking more heat right now if Carmona had not also put in a weak performance.

the AL teams are better but if the ALCS goes to 7 games and the rockies sweep going 19 and 1 or whatever they will be I like the rockies to win it all!

I hope all of you aren\'t missing out on this historic run by the Rockies. I\'ve only missed one of their playoff games so far and don\'t plan on missing any of the World Series.

Quote
The Rockies have won 21 of 22 games on their way to the World Series, including seven straight to start the postseason. The last team to go on such a post-Sept. 1 jag was the 1935 Chicago Cubs, who won 21 straight, and the only other group to start a postseason with seven consecutive victories was Cincinnati\'s 1976 incarnation of the Big Red Machine.

On a side note, TBS must be pissed. Of the 5 series they bought the rights to only one series went beyond the minimum amount of games (Yankees/Indians). Every other one was a sweep.

Big game in Cleveland tonight. There is a huge difference between 3-1 and 2-2.
