He\'s so full of ****. But hey, guess he\'s gotta\' do what he\'s gotta\' do, the HOF requires liars at this point.

it would probably be easier for Baseball to just * itself.

So anyone believe Clemens? I don\'t. It just does not jive with the others that have supported the accusations.

This may not be the correct thread for this, but I just thought I\'d mention that Jim Rice came up just short for the Baseball Hall of Fame again.

Man, that sucks.
NESN did an (obivously) biased thing about him, but I agree; he should be in there.

Goose going in as a Yankee or Padre?
Arguments can be made for either team. Personally when I think of Goose I think of his time w/ The Padres but I\'m from CA.

C\'mon dude.  I suppose he could go in as White Sox, Cub, Giant, Pirate, A, Mariner or Ranger too... but he spent his prime years and got his ring in New York.

Yes but he has said he always preferred his time in San Diego over all the places he played and he was an integral part of the Padres making it to their 1st WS.
The only 2 teams possible are the Yanks or Pads he spent more time there and accomplished more in those 2 places.

Either way he deserves the honor and should have been in a lot earlier than this.
