**** Gange blew the shutout.
No surprise there. Gagne is a has been compared to what he was. Although he had a good season up until Boston.
Happy to see the Yankees win but they are going to have to win tonight, then go back to Cleveland and face C.C., which is not so easy.
NL West 6-0 in the playoffs.
Rockies/Sox Series...Lets-Go-Rooock-ies!!
NL West 6-0 in the playoffs.
Yeah no matter what happens there will be an N.L. West team in the World Series.
Nice!
Wang is off to a great start already! Luckily, I can\'t watch from work but can still watch the gamecast. Not good at all is what I am feeling.
Naturally, the Yankees leave 3 on to end the 2nd inning. I feel like it is painful to watch the Yankees play in the post season. They are batting a combined .184 or something this series.
yankees=dunzo
sorry chip:doh:
GO SOX!
My sincerest congratulations to the Yankees on a great second half of the season. They played good ball after the all star break. (best record in MLB 2nd half) Everything just fell apart on ya in the last few games. It all ends so quickly.
We\'ll see you next year.
That being said.
Bring on the tribe, LET\'S GO SOX!!!
Heh heh heh.... Remember how funny it was watching all the Yankees fans walk around all smug and talking
**** when they were excited to have cut their deficit in the division to 2 GAMES BACK in the last two weeks of the season.... Heh heh heh...
Go sox

hey peaches, when you get on .info there\'s a little picture in the top right corner, if it\'s a picture of a gargoyle and not your face it\'s Lexi\'s screenname. Under that little picture is a link that says "log out" It does amazing things. Try it some time.
Well now that the Yanks are out, I know who I will root for. ANYBODY BUT BOSTON:pissed:
So Torre\'s contract renewal is up in the air. I wonder how this will end up. Girardi, La Russa and Mattingly are all potential replacements.
A-Rod is still up in the air too. My guess is he will sign with the Yankees again but I wouldn\'t be surprised if he ended up with the Dodgers, Mariners or Athletics. Too bad the Padres can\'t afford him.
Although I am a huge Mattingly fan, I think that Steinbrenner will have made a horrible decision if he lets Torre go. Do we really want anothe 5-10 years where we have a new coach ever 1 or 2 years like we had in the mid 80\'s and early 90\'s, I don\'t. Girardi might be a possibility; I don\'t think Mattingly is ready for the position and I don\'t La Russa would be good for NY. I say you bring back Torre and let him work out the kinks.
As for A-Rod, I could care less if he\'s back. It would be great to have him back, but at what cost. I think that we\'ve seen some really good young players come up from the minors and perform well. It\'s about time we start using our farm system and stop trading them for older players, who were once great, but now past their time. I also hope that Clemens finally retires; it\'s obvious that he is willing to continue, but his body is not.
Unfortunately, due to the Yankees absence in the CS and WS and the horrible job that TBS is doing, the rest of the baseball season will mean little to me. And since the Jets have pretty much ruined their chances for the playoffs by starting 1-4, I\'ll say Let\'s Go Devils!!!!!!
Allow me to welcome the Yankees to the ranks of the average. Yes!
I wouldn\'t consider the Yanks average since we made the playoffs. But you never know from year to year what you are going to do, but I also wouldn\'t call 12 straight years of making the playoffs average.
