I was shocked by that as well, the way he\'s been playing this year. Def shafted
cany believe john maine didn\'t even make the team. 9-4 with a era under 3
forget about maine, chris young got shafted.
john maine: 9-4 [6-1 road], 102.0 ip, 79 hits, 84k, 38bb, 10hr, 2.74 era, 1.15 whip
chris young: 8-3 [5-2 road], 96.2 ip, 69 hits, 90k, 36bb, 3hr, 2.14 era, 1.09 whip
very unfortunate that youkillis didnt make it either.
its just a popularity contest
yeah, thats what sucks about it. any schmuck can vote 25 times for his fav player no matter how poorly he is playing that particular season. oh well. if the second half of the season is on par with the first half, its going to be an exciting race for the playoffs.
I won\'t deny that I used all my votes on the entire red sox line up.
I used all my votes on my fantasy team. I also believe that the players/coaches have a vote and the media has votes, so that if someone gets voted in the other votes can pick someone who deserves it better or I just made this up.
You are right. The players, coaches, and managers vote for the pitchers and 8 pos. players. Then the World Series teams\' mangers pick platyers to fill the rest of the spots. This ensures that there is representation from every team. I think it\'s totally ridiculous that there has to be a player from every team, but that\'s just me...
There is an (online only I believe) final vote going on right now which will determine the final player on each team. Okajima is on the ballot for the AL team...
The Yankees are going to win the AL East.
The Yankees are going to win the AL East.
They do. I streak at the Breakfast show following the clinch.
The Yankees are going to win the AL East.
Wolfman?? :wah:
They keep playing baseball like they have since the All Star break and I believe this is possible.
Congratulations to Alex Rodriguez on his 500th home run!!
