The Price is Right theme What\'s the Deal?

So anyone know the story behind the guys covering The Price is Right theme ? It is pure genius in my opinion. I played it for my friend last nite asking him to discern which song it was as fast as he could (after listening to the rest of the Bill\'s Bar show as the soundtrack to surf movies Sep. Sessions and Shelter.) The look on his face abt 4 secs. into the song was absolu classic!!!
Anyways just wondering how it came up as a cover and did they get the actual music or listen to it over and over?
Thanx for any help

It all started at the casino near Baja Bash last summer. Tim sat down in front of "The Price Is Right" slot machine. He had no idea what he was doing. He just kept putting in quarters. Before long, he had himself a **** load of quarters, and just kept winning. The whole time, the theme song was playing. He said it was a catchy tune and wanted to cover it. They more than likely listened to it a few more times after we got home.

The Vegas like Harrah\'s ? That place is fun. Thanx for the info. I\'ll get a sign put up designating the machine as a musical landmark. LOL

I figured the first Time they played it was at Castleton, as the raffle deal was winding down. I like doing that to people too, sticking on that show and the look IS priceless! Or should I say, the Look is Priceless Is Right....or..

This show is before Baja Bash so I guess the slot machine must have been a trip to come across as the very show before they debuted the song . Weird.

Tim used to incorporate it into Diesel Experiments, especially when admission was free (hence, the price of the show was right).
