If you go to the shows, you\'re more likely to get info... rather than asking on a public message board, guy ;)  I have a feeling that if/when the Breakfast has a new bassist, we\'ll all be first to find out with an announcement from the band.  Let\'s send Ron out with some class, and not start thinking about his "replacement" just yet. ::/my .02::

Can\'t wait to hear the new guy. I\'m sure he is something special.
Ron\'s last show is 10 days away. I think its totally kosher for everyone to be thinking about his "replacement".
I\'m really suprised no announcement has been made.

so not to bring up the most depressing news ever again, but i was wondering if anyone coughspaceycough had any juicy info on the new bassist.
for example,
his name
song learning progress
opinions from tim and adrian
new tunes
old tune bustouts
new cheesy covers

Yes, his name is Jeff Dirizirizirizus
He\'s learned all of the songs, and taught the band a few of his own (don\'t want to ruin the surprise, but E.A.D. will be a force to reckon with after the new year).
Cheesy covers will be the bands new M.O.  Look for plenty of ABBA and Weird Al stuff.

Alternative Polka?

i think it would be halarious to not say anything about the new bassist till his first show, then have him come out in a cape, with a mask over his face, and do a ceremonial unveiling right before the first set break.

Come on. You can\'t really be all that surprised.

Why does his replacement need to be announced right now? Come to Sully\'s/Daniel Street in Jan. and meet him personally, if you haven\'t already.

FWIW, E-A-D is a tune that me and Dobson wrote and we still play. Tim is beginning to catch onto it, so don\'t be surprised to hear some teases if you can catch them.

It is a great instrumental and we have only really jammed the **** out of it once at Dobzmahal recording studios. People were impressed.

Well, we have seasons, it is very nice. We don\'t have a botox climate here.

Hookers cost money, which isn\'t worth it, so we took Catholic school girls instead from the high school after high jacking a bus.

we threw a party, **** got nuts.

so the next gig (first gig with the new bass guy) is less than a week away, and still no anouncement.  at this point i think its almost better to just have it be a suprise at the show when he comes out on stage.

It\'ll be a surprise alright when the band comes on stage with no Bass Player and announces they will now be playing Doors Covers from now on.

"That\'s right! The gypsies had no homes, The Doors had no bass. But don\'t let that scare you, my friend let that liberate you! \'Cause when you\'re free flying with the Doors, man - what do you need a safety net for?"
