Aren\'t you two roomies? That\'d be funny if Gregg actually threw a tomato that Jenny ducked under while simultaneously posting.

that WOULD be funny!

:nope: I don\'t think he can throw a tomato from MA to WI though.  :chin:

by the way jenny, I\'m FINALLY moving downtown next month.. which means I will FINALLY be able to return that much appreciated favor, from way back when, of crashing on a nearby couch post (any) show in Chi-town. I\'ve always felt bad that I couldn\'t do so after you were the greatest host ever to me and my inebriated cohorts.

So come January, "I Got The Hook Up, Holla\' If Ya\' Hear Me!"
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

so not to bring up the most depressing news ever again, but i was wondering if anyone coughspaceycough had any juicy info on the new bassist.
for example,
his name
song learning progress
opinions from tim and adrian
new tunes
old tune bustouts
new cheesy covers

If you go to the shows, you\'re more likely to get info... rather than asking on a public message board, guy ;)  I have a feeling that if/when the Breakfast has a new bassist, we\'ll all be first to find out with an announcement from the band.  Let\'s send Ron out with some class, and not start thinking about his "replacement" just yet. ::/my .02::

Spacey is coming along quite nicely on bass. Should be good.

OK, OK! I can\'t keep my mouth shut anymore.
As soon as we have the baby my wife will be the new bass player for the Breakfast.
Jess has been working really hard. She has nailed Scheme as if she wrote the song. Spunk has never sounded funkier and Tribal... wait til you hear the harmonies!  Sorry Spacey.. I know you were livin the dream but I couldn\'t hold out anymore.

you know i don\'t go to shows. this board is where most bfast news hits leaks out before band makes announcements.  and i\'m pretty sure this is the "post-ron era" thread, not the "i love you ron spears, please don\'t go" thread.
ps. i love you ron spears, please don\'t go

Yes, his name is Jeff Dirizirizirizus
He\'s learned all of the songs, and taught the band a few of his own (don\'t want to ruin the surprise, but E.A.D. will be a force to reckon with after the new year).
Cheesy covers will be the bands new M.O.  Look for plenty of ABBA and Weird Al stuff.
