I didn\'t know the show was actually being held at the Powder Hollow Barn.

i\'m bad at this stuff but i\'d say 50 people were under the tent watching the show. There were way more than that at the festival, but fifty is my guess to the amount that watched them play. There were multiple stages (2, maybe more? I only saw 2) and they played at kind a mini tent, if you will. The other stage had a bigger area underneath the tent. That\'s the one I figured they were gonna play at when I was first doing my "roaming" of the area.

And as for the power outage, I mean yes it was kind of a buzzkill but that shit\'s outta their control, ya know? And again, 5-10 minutes is just my guestimate, but it was definitely not 2 minutes and wasn\'t 15. $50 bucks for an hour of playing is the most I\'ve ever payed for a breakfast show, but considering all the $3, $5, $8 or free shows I\'ve seen where they went balls to the wall just like last night, I\'m cool with it! I asked the girl at the gate for some kind of 1-day discount (1 band really!) but she said no. Oh well. I\'ll never turn down a chance to see them guys, so I\'m glad I did it. This was the first annual "Rock Your Art Out" festival and I\'m glad everything (almost) went smoothly. Hopefully they\'ll be back next year with a 2 set ser-a-thon baby. It should also be noted that Adrian was playing a different drum set. Steve or Greg could answer this I\'m sure, but was it somebody elses? His backup? I don\'t normally pick up on shit like that, but I noticed they were green and didn\'t say "Smith" on them.

Oh and thanks to the band/crew for always being so freakin friendly before these shows... you guys are a pleasure to be around on/off the stage. And Greg thanks again for the birthday wishes, and good to meet ya cosmoechuck

Till Red Square... ahoy!

oh and I forgot to mention I saw a taper there so hopefully we\'ll be hearing this one again! :)

Did you get a name or email from the taper, or was it one of the regs suspects.

It was both of us.  we ran one st of mics, the 461\'s NORTf and it sounds really sweet.  The show was nice if short.  as mentioned the Buquebus .Psyn was worth the price of admission alone.  ( And there was actually some other good music during the 2 days too-Maganahans Revival was one)
I thought Ron\'s Bass was oozing with perfect sonic bottom for Tim\'s guitar.  They didn\'t have time or room, so Tim set up with no keys.  Very nice indeed.  I will post photos and mike will post the music as soon as he can, I am sure.
I didn\'t notice about Adrian playing a different Kit, someone else can answer this hopefully.

first off it should be noted that the band played a somewhat stripped down set up.  No keys at all for timmy.  Adrian played a band called Desolation Angels kit.  Ron was on his usual rig.

For political correctness purposes all I will say is that it was a pretty \'relaxed\' festival.  Basically everybody that was working the production of the event had their own \'idea\' of what was going on, but a lot was obviously lost in the mix....

We were playing a second stage which was essentially a tent that couldnt have been too much bigger that 20\' X 40\'.  The stage was tarps on dirt, and the power was coming from an extension cord running from the window of an old bus parked behind the tent.  the sound system was a very small PA setup that chadwick nearly blew to bits.

The day had all the makings of a gigantic disappontment.  however, the breakfast did, what they always do, push their music to the next level like the triumphant rock gods that they are.  It was down and dirty rock and roll in the upstate woods with a bunch of drugged out hippies and all sorts of freaks about.

The night also saw the return of "save side".  Basicaly a reverse GTB setup.  And the save basically gave one of the most skillfull performances i have seen from him.  he was defintely adding some tasty bass morsels all night.

The Buquebus and Psygn were by far and away the highlights of the night, and if I had to pick only one highlight it would have to be the Psygn.

It was definitely nice to see a nice cross section of .infoers at the show last night......thanks to all you guys for your generosity and such......i was definitely feeling very very very tall by the time the van pulled away from the grounds......

I saw this festie advertised as "Rack n Friends"  would this be the same guy that used to run around with the infamous fast eddie?????  if so they should of just called it sketchapalooza...  either way glad to hear that the breakfast were able to "push their music to the next level like the triumphant rock gods that they are."  - couldn\'t have put it any better, stevie...
Not sure what is gonna transpire. Regardless, we ain\'t gonna forget the gravy.
