Depressing, yet comforting. And for the most part, exceptional.

Listened to Sky Blue Sky a few times and gets better with each listen. Really dig Summerteeth, too.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

I have to agree. Not that I have much to go on yet but from the albums I listened to Summerteeth does it for me. Wilco does it for me. Maybe is the mood of the albums or the tone of the songs, they way they are written or played, I don\'t know but I definitely connect with what they are doing.

I downloaded about half this album (rest was unavailable)
I really liked Impossible Germany.

Some of the rest of it was a little too country for me.  Which is weird because I love albums like Exile Main Street and Grateful Dead (1971)

Anyone recommend Wilco\'s least counrty sounding album?

All of the other three I know have a country twinge, though I\'d classify Summerteeth as a bit more poppy, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot as a bit more experimental, and A Ghost is Born as a bit more jammy.

All things being equal, country or no country, if you have an interest in getting into Wilco, and haven\'t heard Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, hear it.

along wth the albums,i\'d recommend  t****ys solo acoustic dvd \'Sunken Treasures\' because if youre in that mood and put it on you hear a little about who he is and his songs..his goofiness..and good footage. its heartfelt
sleep a lot...eat a lot, brush em like crazy. Run a lot...do a lot, never be lazy..

Wilco will be the music that will be playing if I ever decided that I needed an extra push to end it all.

as my friend aruny was saying, the jeff t****y acoustic solo shit is something truely special.
theres moments in this show that raise ser goosebumps.
also, his stage banter is SECOND TO NONE.dude can be really funny.i strongly recommend giving this show a listen.i was lucky to run into this one....

Hey-o. Really nice, super intimate Jeff T****y solo show here. Intimate as in he played in someone’s living room as a part of the Chicago Letters to Santa benefit series.

From what I understand if you donate enough money to the charity, T****y will come play at your house. Maybe some Chicago folk on here can shed more light. Anyway, it’s a great “show”. Enjoy.
