looked up some more information on this festival

Price $75 (online, advanced sales, 2 day pass)
$85 (day of, at gate)

doesn\'t look like they offer a 1 day pass. since the breakfast would be playing both nights this probably wont be an issue.

Rules:
No camping in the festival grounds at Stratton Mountain
No selling food or alcohol on Stratton grounds. If you are caught selling food, you will be removed and fined 250$
Pets are allowed at the festival as long as they are leashed. Loose Pets will be delivered to the local humaine society
All vehicles, bags, etc. are subject to search upon entry to the festival site
All attendees must have bracelets to be on the festival grounds
If you are found on site without a bracelet, you will be escorted to the front gate to buy one or to leave the grounds
Re-entry to the grounds is allowed, as long as you still have your original bracelet on
No Glass
No Weapons of any kind
No Open Fires
No Fireworks
No Illegal substances

no camping is a bummer but i am sure there are close by sites available.

additional information can be found here http://www.empvt.com/

Great! Would have been really sad if they got bagged on this one. I love festivals at ski mountains!

wow, sweet!! i love stratton!! i practically lived there this winter. there\'s sweet hiking all around the area, especially on stratton mountain itself. the long trail (great beer, but that\'s not what i\'m talking about here...) and the appalachian trial intersect at some point at the summit. i really hope to check out this festival. can\'t wait to see what other bands are playing, but two nights of the breakfast sounds awesome enough for me.

here is a message from my friend Andrew who is running the Liberate fest:

Quote
What\'s up, Esther?
I saw those message board posts you put up. Thanks a TON! Our situation has changed a bit, I think for the better. The location is now at the Bondville Fairgrounds at the base of Stratton Mountain in Bondville, VT. There WILL be free on-site camping with a large healing-arts geodesic dome from Allard Engineering with yoga, reiki, massage, vibrational healing (w/didj), and a late-night acoustic teahouse. The band lineup is looking like this:

Soulive
the Everyone Orchestra (w/TBD special guests)
Lotus
Hot Buttered Rum String Band
Spam Allstars
DJ Harry
The Breakfast
Peter Prince & Moon Boot Lover
Gordon Stone Band
Turkey Bouillon Mafia w/ Christina Durfee
Panda Watch
and more...

Tickets will be $90 w/$5 tax, shipping, handling, available through the online store at http://www.empvt.com. We\'re working on some other exciting things, too, but I\'ll get to that later. Are you still in Boston these days or did you go west already? Anyways, I hope you\'re well.

Peace

Andrew

Everyone Orchestra, Lotus, and Hot Buttered Rum are currently not confirmed but extremely likely to play, they are waiting for confirmation from these bands within 2 days.  also, tickets are available for purchase now at the website (http://www.empvt.com).  definitely hitting this up and supporting my old friend.
