This show was great, it had all the energy that you could possibly want. Yeah...Garcian>Language>Garcian, was pretty light...yeaaah...and when it literally sounded as if they somehow spliced Vermont song onto the end of Garcian, even though it wasn\'t a segue, it was pretty instantly part of the ending or beginning or whatever it was. Uh, too bad that uh, nobody had the uh, i don\'t know, sense, or uh, need to record the show. No big deal, those who were there know what it was all about. I swear sometimes the band must decide, hey let\'s play all old school shit, who knows but it\'s fine with me. Haven\'t seen Beef in a while, or Gacian for that matter, and don\'t even ask when the last time I saw Tribal. Everything in my opinion, had a little something extra and the fucking improvisational shit, though sometimes it didn\'t seem improv\'d, was top notch. It seemed like they finally reached a point that they were constantly building up to all of last weekend, and trust me, I am taking
nothing away from those shows they were all great ones, but it seemed like this one was kinda like an encore to the "420 weekend." I\'ve only asked them to play a request once (at Donovan\'s Reef for you fellow old bastards) and felt like a lame-ass for doing so, but every time I talked to anyone of them last weekend I wanted to ask for Tribal but didn\'t and last night one my way out side, I had to stop myself from doing it. Since it\'s gotten so out of hand trying to see the damn song, sad as it sounds and is, like a true asshole, I sometimes say to myself at the end of jams or middle when a jam is getting ready for a song, "ok and Tribal.....now!" but no. So I say to Jen or Nermel9, during the opening second set jam, "Yeah, it sounds like there just stretchin\' out for Tribal," and when it actually happened it was a little confusing at first. If you guys couldn\'t tell, I rather enjoy that one. Now when the two of us see wooks "gettin\' down" they seem to get all crouchy and tight looking all over, so we say, "oh shit, that dude\'s crouchin\' up!" My point is that when the band played the second set up until the absolutely remarkable frenzy they built themselves up to before the beautiful segue into Space Oddity and then Intension, they were "crouched up" like I haven\'t seen in years. The second set was probably a bit over an hour and seemed liked they played more songs, until I uh, saw it on paper
and realized they didn\'t. Debatable in my opinion, possibly my favorite post Jordan show. Seriously, I really wish that it was recorded so I don\'t sound like I\'m full of shit, but the energy was awesome and it seemed like as the show went on,
more people were showing up, and really gettin\' into the music. Gencs, where ever the hell he was, would have been proud. The boys definitely ate their Quaker Oatmeal and checked their blood sugar multiple times last night, what ever the hell that\'s supposed to mean...
