Personally, I think they need a new name: The Ser Ser Collective.

So they play Red Clay. Hmmmm... What time does their set usually start?

For those who are curious, the first clip is Red Clay by Freddie Hubbard. The orignal version is played by Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Lenny White (of Return to Forever fame) and Joe Henderson.  I highly reccomend this, and any other Hubbard releases from the CTI label. Hell, any CTI releases period.

The second clip, ehhhh, not so much... Not so much at all.

No Cover....No worries on the questions.....

Hopefully with our help we can grow this thing and maybe get even more outside attention brought to this scene....

I\'m in. This is the type of stuff that NEEDS to be heard and appreciated, even if it is in Ansonia.  This would definetly be a band suited for Daniel St.

I talked with Adrain about the Daniel St option......  He did mention that the guys love playing together and shows outside of the valley and at different venues, and end of the week and weekend dates (pending breakfast shows) are definitely an option as the interest grows.....

another thing thats been sort of left out is.....how clearly pleased these other musicians are to be playing with adrian. they are all outstanding musicians in their own rights, but they are obviously quite happy to be playing with someone of his caliber.when theirs only five other people in the room and the musicians cain\'t stop smiling at each other, you know theres something special going on.

Actually all the other musicians in the Blah Blah Collective are all musically trained through serious musical schools and whatnot....(I remember hearing adrian saying something about Julliard and Berkley, etc.)  Adrian is the only self-taught musician up there.....

Now, I could have misheard or misunderstood what was being said because I had to keep a good eye and ear on BillyChags who was trying to punch me in the face all night long......but that is what I could have sworn I heard.......

Either way its sick.....and they are definitely having a great time playing together......

That\'s Sam Blanchete in the other clip. He\'s a great guitarist in his own right. But yeah, not the best clip of him.
