What a great show!
My highlights - When The Levee Breaks (possibly the greatest rock song ever) and I Love Rock N Roll.
Watching them switch into ILRNR, at first seeing Tim lower the mic stand for Caitlin, I couldn\'t help but think how cute it was. That was quickly wiped away when she went into a sneering, snarling Joan Jett.  That girl was in charge up there!
Always a treat to see Adrian and Tim tear it up on each other\'s instruments.

that little girl was amazing - what a voice!  at 1st i was wondering why she would be allowed at that age, to perform in a bar, after seeing her sing and play, i feel it would be sad not to share her talent with the world (starting small like orange ct of course)!  how lucky she is to have such lovely supportive parents.  this child is headed bigger and better places :)

First, Thanks for the compliment Melanie.....Next...We watch her like a hawk when she\'s out in bars and there\'s always 2 to 4 people from the family with her.  She\'s very mature for her age and we talk all the time about what goes on.  The thing is, when all her friends are sneaking into bars when they\'re 18...it won\'t be a big deal for Caitlin.  Last, I can\'t believe the musical education Caitlin is getting...imagine being able to play with musicians like Tim and Adrian at 14 years old!!  She is learning so much from them.

Hope to see you all at another SWITCH UP gig.

:awwyeah: I\'m looking forward to hearing the recording of this show -- ILRnR was definitely my favorite too!  I also can\'t wait to go to Stonebridge on the 31st... hey chris - is COD her band or does she play solo?  Either way, it\'ll be a treat & I\'m hoping to see a few more .infoheads there pregaming for TT @ Jake\'s (3-setter)

COD means Caitlin On Drums.  It\'s a band we started a little more then a year ago.  It\'s me on guitar and a  guy named Chris Barber on bass.  We play mostly rock covers from the Stones, and the Who to Rush and John Mayer....and even some newer bands like Fall Out Boy and Lit...it\'s a lot of fun.  .  I definitely don\'t want to take away from Tim\'s gig but we appreciate the support...We\'re playing a lot on Sunday\'s outside throughout the summer.  It\'s fun with a great crowd of young, old, families, bikers..it\'s a great mix.  Check out Cait\'s web site for more info.

I raised her right..lol ....she\'s listened to everything from Zep, Hendrix, The Who....to The Dead, and Phish, to jazz and  blues ever since she was a little baby.  Now I hear all kinds of music coming from her room.  One song might be techno, the next jazz, then some classic rock....she actually teaches me and has opened my ears to a lot of music my old classic rock ears would not usually listen to.

I was very nervous for Caitlin on Friday.  Tim, Adrian, and Caitlin only really practiced like 2 or 3 times before the show.  Since it was the first time they were playing out, I was nervous, with all the "switching up", that maybe something would go wrong, and worried that Caitlin may have crumbled under the pressure.  I couldn\'t have been more wrong.

She is by far and away the most composed and tallented 14 year old I have ever witnessed.  Nothing rattled her.  During her guitar solo in Teen Spirit she turned around to the amps to get some feedback and whatnot.  When she was on bass and Todd Anderson was in her grill with the camera, she walked right up to the lens and threw down some bass bombs in Todds grill, for what I expect to be some ser shots.  This girl has star quallities and then some.....Not to mention her voice which is enchanted.  It reminded me of Margo Timmons of the Cowboy Junkies....

This is a great project which really gets the spotlight on Caitlin.  I hope Tim and Adrian continue to work with her on this and start to encorporate more of her original music into the sets......
