fantastic news.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

Phil is going to take the manager reins?
This is the best news to hit my ears concerning The Breakfast in quite awhile.
He knows what it takes to get shit done in terms of booking and promotion.

Now get them out here again.
TIA

sweet. hopefully that\'ll get some ball rolling.

how often do we have to go thru these \'not sure whats in store for the future\' lulls?  it seems like this is a semi annual occurance that we get told some news and get to keep our fingers crossed about it.

are they still aligned w/ crescendo?  what do they do anyways?

what about kroop?  this whole breakfast management thing confuses the shit out of me.  just play some fucking shows not in the same 6 venues for once.

Crescendo only books shows and it has been the best booking in a long time.

I don\'t know if this is Phil\'s f/t gig, I\'m sure its not.

that\'s really funny. in response to grellis\' thread i read this morning, i was going to reiterate that what they need most is a manager. as greg said, they have done eight years worth of flyering and taking on all that stuff on their own (basically) and its time for them to not have to worry about the non-musical side of everything. you\'re hard pressed to find successful, manager-less bands these days. too much on any one band member\'s plate. sure, some can, but most can\'t do it all themselves. so, way to go band! way to go phil!!! booking agency, check! management, check! next stop? the World!!

He is currently living in Fort Collins, CO.....

Whether it is his full time gig, i cant say.....  If I were to guess I would say he has taken this on as a full time gig, but will be working other suplimental gigs such as ser guitarist in the Rockies for hire, and such.....  I havent really talked with him since we were out there in Oct.....
