Renting a house sounds pretty cool - it sounds like it\'s expensive, but why pay $150 for a hotel room, when, if enough people pay, we could have a SER party house on the beach?!  Some of these places are willing to work out deals/negotiations if it\'s booked far enough in advance, too!

yeah...well if you and todd are in on the house...you can def count me out, for i need not hear the sound of old balls slapping around all day/night for 2 days straight...

the surf hotel is only $90 a night. if that includes a bed and indoor plumbing its prob a good deal.

I\'ve stayed at this hotel several times, and kinda know the people that own it.

That said, we should not stay there. It\'s simply too damn old and nice. Something expensive will get broke.

But it does have its own private beach, open at night too.... which means I got the mescaline and 8-foot American flag covered

Papa GFunk\'s all over that with his chef costume.

yeah its for baking stuff, and whipping cream, and stuff.... wha wha wha wha wha whaaaaaaa

Every place on Block Island is a place we should not stay because we will destroy it. Simple fact of life.

that is probably true.

But some places, ie Surf Hotel, require special consideration.

There are at least a few motel / cheaper , less breakable places on the island we could easily scope out.

and we should start to look into these options since it seems there are a lot of people interested. If we have a definite number we can probably deal with some of these places.

We have a tendency of trashing anywhere we go.  Let alone some of the nice places on block island.
