I knew I was to take off this weekend for a reason and here it is. I guess I made the right choice.

are you in for the whole weekend because i might have to do the same and reserve some early bird tickets

no MT. Jam love huh......

Radio Woodstock and world renowned guitarist Warren Haynes (Gov\'t Mule & The Allman Brothers Band) announced today that they will, once again, co-produce the Third Annual Mountain Jam Music Festival and that it will expand to three days of music. Mountain Jam with onsite camping, will take place on Friday through Sunday, June 1 - June 3 at beautiful Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY. The natural amphitheatre provides great sight lines from any vantage point. The surrounding environment is family friendly and includes a 24 hour full service lodge. There\'s even a children\'s area with arts & crafts and other activities.

"We\'re excited to have some of our friends back this year as well as friends that have yet to be part of Mountain Jam," said Warren Haynes.

The line up includes: Gov\'t Mule, Umphrey\'s McGee, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, New Orleans Social Club featuring Henry Butler, Ivan Neville, Leo Nocentelli, George Porter Jr. and Raymond Weber, Ozomatli, North Mississippi Allstars, Tea Leaf Green, New Monsoon, and Backyard Tire Fire. Late night performances as well as additional artists will be announced soon.

Mountain Jam tickets are available at http://www.MountainJam.com beginning on Wednesday, February 21 at 10 a.m. EST. There are a limited number of early bird special tickets for $99 for a 3-Day Pass, and $124 for a 3 -Day Pass with Camping. After that, tickets will be $105 for a 3-Day Pass, and $130 for a 3-Day Pass with Camping. A 1-Day Pass is $65. Ticket prices increase on May 1st and on the day of the show.

On-site camping has been increased since last year\'s event. In addition, there are other camping facilities and plenty of hotels located nearby.

"We are excited to grow Mountain Jam to three days and to have expanded camping facilities" said Gary Chetkof, President of Radio Woodstock. "The musical line up is stronger than ever and this year\'s Mountain Jam is better conceived in terms of creativity and production."

Radio Woodstock/WDST will be broadcasting live from the festival site, and listeners can catch the broadcast on air in the Hudson Valley at 100.1 WDST or online at RadioWoodstock.com.

I do have the video but the longer i keep it the more folklore builds up about it. Maybe I will bust it out in ten years. I think sam kiniger is in the works for this show also. But don\'t quote me it is just a hunch.
