Esteban began life as Stephen Paul, the son of a steelworker from Pittsburgh. His passion for the guitar sent him on a quest to pursue his love of music, and in the late 1970s he succeeded in his ambition to become a student of the world-renowned guitar master Andrés Segovia. Concert stages around the world have been home to his music, and television has brought him to a wider audience. He has topped the Billboard charts several times for his albums and has brought music to many with his affordable line of guitars.
