The \'Queen Moment\' in Dimension 5
« on: March 23, 2005, 11:45:32 pm »
Paul (or anybody else who knows):

What is the approximate time of the "Queen Moment" that you and Jim Palms spoke of so affectionately at the WVOF radio show?  I\'ve been listening, but I don\'t hear anything that akin to the guitar of Mr. Brian May.  Help a brotha out.

last several notes in the guitar solo are harmonlized a-la queen. Its burried down in the album mix, but it sounded funny as hell in the studio.

I noticed it clearly when listening to the album in my car - try it with headphones and it\'ll be really obvious.

Very reminiscent!

I noticed it immediately before this thread came into existence.

I typically beg Ron to play it before most shows that I am at. It rarely gets played. His comment was it looked like me and him were about the only people who liked it. I am glad to hear other people starting to take note of this song, definitely one of my favs.

Wiredchicken-good meeting you at Porter\'s!

yeah, i have been listening to the Utica show from before moe.down and keep going back to this song.  then to hear it again the other night in NJ was great cuase Mason asked Ron to play a Help>Slip>Dimension5 and ron just said one of them is on there. then of course they played Real Radio and we got the Dimension 5.  LOVE IT.

nice to meet you as well, Mark. you will be seeing me again soon. FREAKOUT!

Love the song.

The line "The universe, I love like no other" cracks me up though. Other what? The other universe?

Oh heh this is funny... I have always laughed at that line but now realize that he must mean he loves the universe like no one else does. lol. It took actually looking at the words on paper (err, computer screen) to clear that up. I always heard it as him loving the universe like no other universe, and it made me laugh because I for one wasn\'t aware of the existence of other universes.
