Sorry, but I liked the title of yours;)

So I know that this song has been only played a few times but after falling in love with it upon first listen to the 4/20 show, and then comparing that and the 4/22(FP->DB), I have come to two very premature and inconsequential opinions:

1. 4/22 is a much better version than the 4/20 one...at this rate of improvement the song will be the greatest ever written in a year and a half;)

2. This song will live and die with the imput of one Jordan Giangreco.  The piano added to the 4/22 version and the more subdued Tim-shredding make that an incredible jam.  This could be taken so many places it is incredible.  I think it has me already waiting for the same epic-proportion jam that Gencs and I have been expecting from \'GBFBitS\'(which will be here soon, I can feel it.)  All out piano solos, piano/bass \'duels\', piano/guitar \'freakouts\'(ala 4/22)...man I am excited about these new songs.

Discuss.

Upon first listen to the 4/20 version I was floored. The 4/22 version is amazing. This song has so much potential to not only rip but to appeal to a larger range of people.

i agree. for a long time now, i\'ve held the opinion that the key to tB is jordan. yeah, we all know that tim and adrian can destroy their (and each others\') instruments, and that ronnie gets the \'most improved in 05\' award (that brother has come *such* a long way over the years!), but what kept this band from just being a wankfest is jordan\'s keys. take a listen to every \'best show ever\' and you\'ll notice one common element - jordan\'s keys are up high in the mix! he provides such a great counterpoint to tim\'s guitar while also playing off and with the rest of the rhthym section. and now they\'ve been able to truly incorporate his spacey sound washes as part of the intentional song and not just \'something the keyboardist does during his solos\'. i think the entire band is really developing and elevating their unique sound and jordan is the key part. getting all four (six w/dobs & ellis) fingers working in true concert together, utilizing all the players\' strengths and then taking those and creating something far greater than the its parts, well.... that\'s true art and a shitload of fun, right there!!

no not at all, i\'m sure he has some killer ones from the other side of the stage, the Save/ Tim dual would have been sick to catch. It\'s just a matter of being in the right place at the right time or camping out till you get the shot you want. hopefully i\'ll have a bunch up by the end of the day.

future peek is definitely getting sicker each time (and the one at last weeks timmy tour wasn\'t too shabby either). ithink that its got a real chill spacey feel without being too far out for some people. and the jam rocks out. i cant wait to see it as an ingredient in future samiches

I <3 future peek.
The song changes so much, and I dig every beat it has to offer. Jordan is amazing and i noticed 4/20-4/22 just how much better he has gotten since i started listening to these guys. Or maybe he is just louder now ;)
I think this song is amazing, and i cant wait to see where they go with it.

I am seriously falling in love with this band all over again.  Ever since Good Things and Psygn last year, this band has been on an incredible run of writing such mature and jaw-dropping songs, as well as reworking some of their older ones.

The common thread in all these new songs?  The VOCALS!  Especially in Future Peek and Psygn.  That refrain in Future Peek just tears at my heart strings like no song since Mooboo\'s Voodoo.  These guys are just amazing, they are always upping their game in some capacity, and I really don\'t think they will ever stop.

If trees could scream do you think we would be so cavalier to cut them down? Maybe if they screamed all the time for no good reason.

Probably the worst thing about having King Kong run rampant in your town would be the huge, monster genitalia.

I wish I had a kryptonite cross, because then I could keep Dracula and Superman away.

I hated Future Peek when I first heard it. Especially since it was suppose to be Future Peek-A-BOO. I thought that it sounded different. But after I heard it in MA on 4/22, I changed my mind. After listening to it a few more times, I really like it. I like the layering of the band, the way it sounds as one but all different at once. Very good tune.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

@ FUTURE PEEK

Riding on the highway of dreams thinking of you
Getting close the final hour of what to do
You’re the best girl I ever met none are like you
I need more time to think things through on this issue

Time man made
Your game is played by
Mother Nature
A traveler I am
A homebody man
I’m not too sure

Different ages, different stages, future peek-a-boo

Tense we wrench and writhe confusion spilling the blues
Sad to think that pressure could break our spiritual glue
Baby I love you to death that I don’t refuse
This choice based upon my two greatest loves either way I lose

Passion can take
All of the stakes
In reaching your goal
If not achieved
You better believe
Will bitter your soul

Different ages, different stages, future peek-a-boo

Learning the hard way
Something we must go through
Future peek-a-boo

why isn\'t this song in the current rotation?  this tune has potential to be one of their best jams, hands down.

Really hoping it isn\'t shelved...

"learning the hard way

"LEARNING THE HAAARRRDDD WAY"

My favorite Tim vocals on a Breakfast album.  Very Harrisonesque circa Dark Horse.
