Just why don\'t The Breakfast have a DVD for sale?

That can be the only thing because I know for a fact that they have fans with the resources @ their disposal to produce a multi camera production that would be the SHIT!!!!!!!!!!
Medium and duplication costs are minimal nowadays as is packaging.

They could sell it on Myspace and here. At shows they could have a TShirt/DVD special.

I just do not get it.

Having free dvd\'s of varying quality is cool but even the KF DVD was a step up (for the minutes it was on the merch table ooops!  :lol: )

As a matter of fact why not package a few of the 2003 FF DVD\'s and sell a few to garner reaction? That DVD is fuckin\' awesome!

Sorry for being negative if anyone feels that way but after watching my new TLG, P&F and Jam in the Dam DVD\'s I find myself boggled why I don\'t have any Bfast DVD\'s put out by the band.

i have no idea. but for now you won\'t see a packaged breakfast dvd on the merch table unless its of the trio. and only bootleg quality trio dvds exist right now.

the CT video crew owns 7 or 8 digtial camcorders and we could easily round up 5 more if we knew in advance that the band wanted to release a live dvd. i know there are also a few .infoers who offered to help out running cameras if we needed them to. the resources are definitely there and the band doesnt have to spend any money or do any work other than ask for a show to be shot with several cameras, watch the footage, and tell us what they want us to do with it.

i really dont think you are going to get an answer here.

btw - theres a 5 camera recording of sully\'s from turkey tour currently being edited. im not sure how or if it will be distributed though.

You should def do something with that Sullys-- between the 5 cameras and how sick that show was it could easily be the best DVD so far

As fitzy mentioned the free dvds are being phased out........The Higher Ground show will be the last show that is offered as a free one shot DVD.

I am hoping that Sullys will be the first officially released Breakfast DVD.  There are no covers on it and it was shot with 5 cameras (2 static shots, 1 tripod manned camera, and 2 free floating crowd cameras).  When this is editited, mastered, and the band has a chance to preview it, I am pretty sure that this one will hit the merch table soon enough......

Dont hold your collective breaths on this one, but when the 1000th show is released it will be the ultimate retrospective on the Breakfast Jordan era.  I was fortunate to get a sneak peek at the DVD\'s intro, it gave me goosebumps as well as still gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.  Not to mention it also contains the setbreak video montage as a bonus on the disc......

So that stuff is coming, but unfortunately there are bigger fish for this band to fry before this other stuff makes it to the top of the "to do list".....

I ended up with a copy of the sullys show.  It looks like its the shot from Kens camera........I am watching it now and its pretty fucking ser.........I am assuming it was ment for Tim, Ron, and or Adrian, but I picked it up off the floor of the green room at the Knitting Factory......Who wants it?  I will start the bidding at $20....

there will probably be a torrents for the san diego and los angeles shows that were shot with 2 cameras at some point. im still waiting to hear back from the west coast connection and get the masters from the other camera angle. they wont be anything SUPER ser, but they will be better than bootleg quality with good audio, and they should tide you guys over until we get sully\'s done.
