I was only there through hard luck harry, but this was a great little show. All through Language>DMB Alani was head banging right out in front. Brandon said it best when he pulled me aside and said "These songs? Alani going nuts? What year is it, 1999?" There was a definite end to FFT then a little jam started up that went right into OE. People who recognised the lack of Late and the great were going nuts. Then of course, there was the OE itself. Tim rocked the shit out of the song. The jam was so insane, i don\'t even know where to begin to describe it. Def the best live version I\'ve seen of it. Honey butter was only the intro riff before the main theme, so they did the climb and went straight into HLH, similar to the way they used to do GSOT>bugs. I\'ve been waiting for a HLH for several months, so I\'m glad I finally got one. That\'s where I left for the night. Set two looks just as good though.

Happy turkey day!

That was the fire! I was real happy to see Tim pickin up the Strat, which always makes for a rediculous show if he manages not to break a string in the first song :D Right off the bat Future Peek was incredible, absolutely nailed. This has gotta be *the* Future Peek up to this point in history. Right after that Dig was another incredible display of tasteful guitar playin.

EEPT1 was cool but erm I happen to like the end of this song a lot , oh well

Overexposure split up from the Late and the Great was awesome, they brought the absolute heat on both occasions. I don\'t even know what song it was but at one point there was some definite machine gun warfare going on but then I realized it was just Adrian.. HLH + WTF were outstanding, as was the Drunk Monk Bar... Even Rust which seems to me like a song that is still in its early stages of not-quite-reaching-its-potential was made to kick ass anyway thanks to some serious playing. Just the right amount of synth/keys action mixed in with guitar last night too.. awesome

enjoy stuffing and mini-quiche!

I definitely had a Rudy\'s flashback indeed......

Sullys, yet again, proves to be a legendary spot for the band to play.  From setlist planning to execution, this was an amazing show all around.  The first set was definitely ruled by Drunk Monk and Overexposure.  While the second set was about Hard Luck, Ep 1>Late And The Great>Ep 1.  Eschers II was originally slated to close the night out of Taboo, but I think the What The Funk was a perfect audible.  And the Intension encore was the cherry on top of an amazing sundae of a Wednesday night.....It was really a great site to see all 100+ focused and in tune with the band.

Thanks to all for a great night and a happy thanksgiving to all of you and yours....

I believe that what I actually said was, Drunk Monk following Language...Alani dancing/slash roaring a foot from the band, what the hell year is this?!"  It was one of those, you had to be there kinda things, anyway first set was pretty hot, the boys finally sold me on Rust, and for possibly the first time I didn\'t mind FFT, probably cuz I couldn\'t hear any of the words, but anyway, I think the second set was where the shit really got going, I like when Honey Butter goes into and comes out of songs, it almost seems better that way, normally having not seen a Happy since I can\'t remember, I would\'ve had a problem with it being interrupted, but with the way that everything was pretty much fitting perfectly together, I didn\'t mind, I was rewarded for my patience, and for me it wouldn\'t take anything away from the excitement of hearing the song if they\'d play it a bit more frequently, but whatever, once again, Intension was a perfect encore, overall a fine show.

Wow. Where to begin? Woke up this morning with Intension running through my head, and it seems to be stuck there. What a great show! Rust definitetly caught my attention, don\'t believe I had heard that one before. Looked around for Jocelyn during HLH, but alas no sighting. Not completing the Escher\'s was not nice at all. Taboo was scorching hot. Adrian\'s opera singing during DMB was a riot. Really hope to see Sully\'s become a somewhat regular spot, and for sure a Turkey Tour tradition.  Good seeing everyone, have a great Turkey Day!

HedieJedie and I thought Tim was mumbling something like "gobble gobble"...but we were hungry for turkey.

That show was dirr-tay.  I will not be able to rock out again til Providence, so last night was a great show to hold me over.

:banrock:Awesome show, as always.  Sully\'s has once again proven to be one of the best venues in CT.  The crowd was completely into the music, and the lights/sound were perfect.  I loved Ronnie\'s solo during WTF, & Intension was a great encore - IMO, the live version of this song rules vs. the filtered, muffled sounds on the album.  I can\'t wait to get my hands on a recording of this show, since I missed most of the first set (oops).
