So we start all over w/ The Heat taking the worst loss by a defending NBA Champ in the Season Opener and The Lakers winning  by 8 w/o Kobe in the line-up.
Great start to the year I say!

So what the hell Dave?
Have you even watched a game yet this season?
If not dude you are blowing it. This team is fun to watch.
Last nights win over San Antonio just reaffirmed my belief that barrring injury this team can make some noise into the playoffs.
Deepest team we have had in years and it shows.

Yes, I know.  They have a lot of great young talent.  But yes they do suck ass.  I will be a Celtics fan until I die.  Not much more to say.

Yeah, I watched that game it was pretty good.  Kobe\'s dunk over Duncan was sick.

Well, I\'m still a Lakers fan and am glad to see their youthful enthusiasm, deep bench, three-point shooting ability, and team speed. They\'ve played very well since Odom\'s injury and last night\'s win was one of the season\'s best. Bryant has done an excellent job providing offensive firepower and distributing to his teammates. I mean, the regular season only means so much, but they do have the fourth-best record in the league at 26-13. Go Lakers!

Tonight sucked for The Lakers but Dallas IS on fire so far this year.
Lerherbles, I can respect your love for that crappy team in green. Just as a Laker fan since before birth anytime I see or hear Celtic Pride I just have to counter.

I respect that.

After watching almost every Celtic game for the last many years, I am excited to see the team go in a solid direction.  Although they are not winning many games, if you watch a few celtics games you\'ll see that they are not far off from being a really good if not great team in a few years.  Since Paul Pierce and Wally Szerbiak have been injured(the team\'s two best scorers), the rest of the team has stepped up and they are in every game they play. Now that Tony Allen is out for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL along with all the other injuries, I must say all hope for this season is lost.  Watch out for Gerald Green and Al Jefferson though.  Celtics vs. Lakers 1/31

CLEVELAND (AP) - Cleveland Cavaliers center Scot Pollard looked into the camera during a recent game and said, "Hey kids, do drugs."

Pollard was sitting on the bench in street clothes when he made the remark during a 20-second timeout Sunday against Indiana. The Cavaliers didn\'t find it funny.
"We have spoken with Scot and certainly do not condone his actions," general manager Danny Ferry said in a statement Wednesday. "He regrets his mistake, using inappropriate humor, particularly when he has always been very involved in the community, projecting positive messages to our youth. We will handle the issue internally."

"It was a bad joke," Pollard said in Thursday editions of The Plain Dealer. "That\'s all it boils down to. There are a number of things people could say about it, but it just turned out it was a bad joke. Obviously, I don\'t believe that."

Pollard, who has played in only 17 games this season, was not available on Thursday. He would be at practice on Friday, the team said.
