Yes today is the day. I have already called.

First off thanks once again for everyone participating!
Second, now is not the time for dissention on what song!.
I originally posted this thread on 9-11-06, so there was plenty of time for that then.
Future Peek won the best song on the album poll on this very board, so that\'s why I chose it.
We all have our favorites, but I ask you to please put those aside to make this a concentrated effort instead of half-assed scattered Breakfast business as usual.

Sorry to be so autocratic with this, but I truly feel it\'s important.

btw Todd- way to go with getting on management for this and the Toad\'s deal.

Just called...Intension is the sond I requested and after 2/10\'s of a second of thought felt it was the one to ask for. Response from Slater was "I\'ll see what I can do for ya". I really feel that if, if not for only tonight but as many nights as possible, we bash them with requests from MANY people they will eventually play it. AND...if it is played, right after it\'s on it is followed up with phone calls of "WOW, who was that band again? That song blew me away! Loved it! I\'d love to hear more from that band!" Etc., etc. etc..... You get the picture. BUZZ, BUZZ, BUZZ!!!!!

I get the feeling Slater is starting to recognize my voice,and is annoyed with me.
I also get the feeling I\'m one of very, very few calling.
That is at least partially my own fault for not bumping this thread more. (due to other stuff going on in my life my activity here has slowed)
I guess I expected more people here to have an interest in this.  :idunno:

Anyway I\'m still calling.  I\'ll give it another week. Who knows? Maybe this Slater cat will have a little sympathy.

Not sure if this one is dripping with sarcasm or not...
Taking it literally I\'ll say that\'s the best damn excuse one can have not to call and any out of stater\'s calling are really going above and beyond.

I want to make it clear that I\'m not bashing anyone here for not participating.  I know we all have lives and schedules, and often many other priorities must be attended to.
Just a little frustrated, thought I had an idea there.

You can send requests via e-mail. I have sent requests from my 8 e-mail accounts, using different names of course, to both Beef Stew (Sunday night blues show) requesting Tricky Ways and to Slater requesting Intension. But of course, with a name like Slater and a look like this: , I don\'t give that one much hope!!

i think it\'s a good idea, and i will be calling everyday (that i remember) instead of just thursday. fuck slater if he\'s getting annoyed, we should annoy him until he plays it. i hate the radio and wont be listening to find out if it actually ever does get played though.
